Where is Sal Sanchez rated All-time For the Mexs?

Mexicans, I like Baby Arizmendi.
He rarely gets a mention.

 

Just to explain my reasoning further, and I'll admit it's a flawed comparison to begin with because we never saw Sanchez past prime. I just think there were more ways to beat Chavez (albeit it would take a helluva fighter). Backing him up which Lockridge and Randall did at times and with speed (Taylor, Whitaker). But obviously those weren't sure fire methods of beating him as he certainly was far from helpless against such tactics. Likewise the jabbers and outboxers came close but no cigar against Sanchez.
Prime Olivares was probably the most complete, sounds like we may be in agreement there.

 

Roberto Duran was actually half Mexican, so well add him along with Napoles. And Pancho Villa.

 

Why not add SRR,Hagler,Monzon,Arguello,Pryor,Pac etc too?

 

I think he is slightly overated,and would put him behind Chavez and Olivares for sure. Lopez and Canto too.

Because he is clearly more skilled than both of them, and the more accomplished boxer...

Sure he lost twice to Herrera..Hopkins also lost twice to Taylor..Do you rank Taylor higher than Hopkins??

He probably deserved 2b listed 0:3(1) against Castillo as well if it wasn't 4d judges .

Taylor fought according 2d rules whereas Hopkins didn't and deserved 2 lose d Jones rematch via body punch KO and i think it's not d only 1 .

Also Taylor did not own Hopkins' s as hard as Castillo and Herera owned Olivares' ..

Skill does not and must not matter 2 me as long as d fight is conducted according 2d rules .

more accomplished boxer ? they r all on d same level and Olivares may b below them even .

bottom line is that h2h and maybe p4p as well Herera and Castillo were better than Olivares .

 

Olivares won 2 out of 3 over Castillo and lost the other one on cuts in a great fight evenly fought.
How do you rate Olivares, Rose and Castillo head to head.

 

Umm Olivares beat Castillo 2 out of 3 times, with the second one being stopped on cuts...He put on a masterful clinic on him in the 3rd.

Herrera caught a weight drained Olivares...Much like how Taylor caught a weight drained Hopkins.

Olivares at his best would whoop Herrera. Olivares is the more acomplished of the 3...Champion in 2 very deep Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions...H2H he's one of the very best at Bantam, and is a far better than both Castillo and Herrera..p4p and h2h. Put down that crack pipe.
