I'd rather see him active first vs the Abells and Reeds and Maddalone's first. Then ease into the contenders. The terms he took those last few fights on are enough to drive a former champ over the edge, being treated like a f/n journeyman.:nono The Klitschko fight was understandable.....they needed an opponent since Potvetkin had backed out with less than 2 months, but 5-6 weeks is not enough time for an inactive contender to get in tip top form for a title fight.
The Helenius bout was worse. Less than a month after having a period of inactivity.

I think the straw that broke the camels back was the Glaskov fight. They call him up on 10 days, offer him 50K as if he were a stepping stone for their fighter. F/N ridiculous.

If Im Peter, I start back from the ground floor up. Go through some club fighters, then a couple Clevel guys and then into contention. 5-6 fights before fighting another contender.:think

I think he could give Mitchell a very good test. Not sure if Peter is up for it but he could gather up a couple more minor paydays if he wanted to.

lol at this delusional Toney nuthugger.

I rewatched Peter-Toney I a few months ago. Peter was out of shape and still clearly won the first fight, he outworked Toney, bullied him, landed the much harder, more effective punches and had Toney badly hurt several times, the ropes saved Toney from going down. Peter walked through Toney's best punches and never flinched.

In the rematch, Toney was knocked down, badly hurt several times, almost KO'd and DOMINATED by Peter.

There was only one legit knockdown in Wlad-Peter I, the other two were from a push and an illegal rabbit punch. Wlad won 10 rounds. Peter was badly hurt and out on his feet in the 12th round. He was saved by the bell. Great fight.

Wlad has improved significantly since the first Peter fight.

In the rematch, Wlad dominated every round and brutally KO'd Peter.

Wlad was definitely poisoned in the first fight.

In the rematch, Wlad dominated every second of every round and made Brewster quit in 6 rounds

Sam Peter is at the same place where Toney is. At Burger King waitin for another undeserved pay day. But to be fair I respect Sam Peter more than that has been joke Toney.

You make the most absurd posts. Toney lost a controversial decision the first time, then got owned by Peter in the rematch. This happened because Peter is too good for Toney.

Later, Toney priced himself out of fights against the Klitschkos.

Everything you say here is correct. You should have added, however, that Toney deliberately priced himself out of a Klitschko fight to avoid being brutally KO'd.
