This includes the whole globe. For a while now I've felt that Vegas is actually a neutral spot to fight for many different fighters. Mayweather actually lives in Vegas and I can't recall a single Mayweather fight in Vegas in which the crowd favored him. Take the Hatton fight for example. Many fighters from out of the country fight in Vegas and usually have a strong showing of support from their countrymen who made the trip. I believe Kessler actually would have had more fans in the arena had he fought Ward there.

Many others attending fights in Vegas are not serious boxing fans, but rather, attend the fights for the prestige of it. The front rows are usually empty until the main event, which is NUTS considering the prices of those tickets. I think many of the Super Six fights should be held in Vegas, if not when one of the Euros are fighting one of the Americans, at least when the Americans are fighting each other. These are just my thoughts anyway. Anybody agree? Disagree? Where else can a big fight be held with a lot of interest and less bias?

It's got to be Wembley or the Millenium Stadium.

you'll get some anti america posts but i think vegas (while not perfect) is as good as anywhere else. They know what they're doing, have hosted soooo many fights, and generally have their **** together. Not perfect no, but pretty good regardless.

I have a feeling England and America are not going to agree on this. I picture rabid soccer fans at both of those stadiums. What, in your opinion, makes these sites neutral?

Arenas in England fill with English people, arenas in Wales fill with Welch people, and arenas in Scotland fill with Scottish people. Vegas arenas fill with Americans who don't care about the fights (they just want to be around big, glamorous events) and people from foreign countries who were probably looking for a reason to go to Vegas anyway. Not to mention, Americans are already diverse to begin with.

Your argument is that Vegas is neutral because the people who go to fights there are not actually that interested in boxing? I guess that would count.

Clearly the answer the question in your thread title is 'depends who is fighting'...

    Or Switzerland.

I said "with a LOT of interest", not "absolutely NO interest". I don't know about the bias in Siberia, but hell, in that case they might as well fight on the moon.

Wembley and Cardiff will be crazy

the amount of fans tht will be present there and the amount of noise they will produce plus all the booze they swallow, will have affect on the fighters, the judges and the ref.

The one word answers with no backing can't possibly hold up.
