The fact is people give other fighters hell for stopping in lower profile fights. Dave Allen thought he was going to die for 4 rounds and carried on to try before he quit and was given hell. Klitschko had a legitimate shoulder injury and other fighters have had bicep tears and been unable to defend themselves and have had no choice but to stop but they also get hell. BJS seems to have a group of fans who are desperate to push a certain narrative which isn't in line with the facts. The grief Callum Smith got after his brave performance with a destroyed bicep and people are still refusing to recognise that he came in on short notice as he wanted to try for his dream and grab it with both hands.
, Lest anybody should get it ass about face, Fury and Saunders never were the same breed and events in Texas are no kind of harbinger of anything to come in Fury-Joshua.
I no longer care. I know the thread is a wind-up about the trash talking for BJS, but in the greater sense, I have stopped listening to Fury one way or the other. His latest bout of inactivity while mouthing off has just put me off. He is like that old girlfriend that you did not want to break up with, but you are just not comparable and it left slightly bitter taste in the mouth--you wish her well, but you don't want anything further to do with her.
He probably doesn't want to get on camera all emotional and say what so many others are thinking about Canelo's entirely suspect power.
I was hoping he was going to roll up on Fat Andy and give him a big slap across the mush on behalf of the good people of Mexico for the way he disgraced them in the rematch against AJ. Guy makes history by becoming the first Mexican HW champion and he couldn't even find the motivation to train for the rematch. SMH
What do people expect him to say? Obviously he's going to back one of his best mates, whether he truly believes he will win or not.
I notice he kept a relatively low profile from weigh in to now. I expect it's so as not to detract from BJS' moment in the sun. It really is bizarre that people care so much about Fury's opinion (someone who's famously outspoken for effect). Shows how mainstream he's become.
