    I wonder where Wilder disappeared?
Recently Hearn offered Wilder $12.5 million to fight with AJ and Wilder's team took it as an insult, their explanation that the fight would get $ 100 million, and Wilder certainly worth (or deserves) more than 12.5%.
Then Joshua in his turn said: "Ok, no problem if you believe the contest is worth $100 million, I'm ready to take 50/50 give me $50 million dollars up front and I swear I'll take that fight tomorrow"

And then Wilder fell silent, does he still want a fight?

Didn't Finkel say they would issue a counter offer on Friday? Taking into account time differences that would mean we'd hear something by sometime next year. Or around the time Joshua's due to fight again (time is fluid in Tuscaloosa).

This is what wilder does, haven't you figured out his pattern?

He screams from the rooftops how he wants the fight, breaks down in tears saying it isnt about money and he will fight anywhere any time then as soon as hearn tries to start a dialogue he goes quiet

A few months later the cycle begins anew

It was reported 3 days ago that Finkel would make a counter offer in 48 hours. So he's either a day late with his supposed offer, or the offer has been made but the details haven't been leaked to the media.

From what Finkel has been saying to the media, it sounds like the counter offer will be for around a 60/40 split and a rematch clause, so basically it's simply putting what has already been discussed in the media into the form of an official offer. Hearn will of course refuse such a split and then make another offer or walk away.

I understand that they are negotiating, which is why Finkel hasn't sent a counter offer. Realistically Hearn is going to be the lead promoter for the first fight in the UK.

If this fight is not both Wilder and AJs next fight, then we can safely file this under a duck for Wilder.

Wilder needs a big money fight like this very very badly. He has not earned what he should have earned as WBC champion, on account of picking low level opposition up until his last fight when he stepped up, and he needs to cash out now and not mess around.

If Wilder ducks this and then loses his next mandatory, this fight and the rematch is gone. That is 12.5 million USD down the hole plus another 12.5 million USD for a rematch down the hole. That is 25 Million USD this mug is potentially walking away from.

Obviously I understand at this point there could be negotiations but unless this is concluded by May 15th(approx 4 weeks away) we know to realistically file this under duck for Wilder. That will be official if Wilder or AJ announces they are fighting someone other than each other in their next fight.

AJ's response is spot on. If Wilder and his team think the fight is worth $100 million let them put it together, arrange TV, arena and marketing and pay AJ $50 million. Should be easy for Wilder and his team of high calibre boxing professionals who manage to get him $1.5 million purses

Initially I was simply asking if anyone had any news on the offer, but my snidey side got the better of me and I amended my post.

Plus I've just about run out of patience with Wilder's side to the point that given the slightest hint that they're fronting again I'm going to seize on it. This media silence, coupled with Wilder's no show in March, isn't a good start to the dealings.

Wilder prefer to do his talking in the ring, not through social media. That's why.

No, seriously, I have no idea!

Wilder will fight Brezeale for $1.5 million instead. Anyone ever wonder why so many American low-IQ sports stars go bankrupt? They lack the brains to know $12.5 > $1.5.
