Sugewhite/Sugegreen posted document showing Brewster was not cleared for the fight I believe, I will try and di it up for you.

Rahman has not looked impressive since March of 06 when he fought Toney the first time, and his chin has gotten much worse over the years.

Thompson's best win is over Laun Krasniqi as you stated, a guy thats best fight was against Lamon Brewster in 05, a fight he was winning until Brewster landed some vicious hooks in the 8th round and then finished him in the 9th I believe. Thompson is only as good as his toughest competition, which was limmited at best.

Smart move avoiding this post, punisher. I guess that the beatings that I have given you in the past have made you a smarter poster.

I addressed you and Downthabottle in the same post, I seperated them into seperate paragraghs.

It's rare when anyone wins, we both have our own opinions regarding Wlad, and I doubt either one of us will ever change our views, but you will be shocked to know I probably follow Wlad just as close as you do, just waiting for that moment when his chin is exposed again.

Obviously you haven't been watching Brewster then. He even had a training/interview video during his lead up to the Krasniqi fight, where he was working on the bag and even showed how he likes to square his feet up, or even switch to a slight southpaw stance and fire a power straight left that is much harder to block. Even his final knockdown against Golota was more of a straight left. You probably need to pay just a little more attention to his feet, and exactly how the punch is being thrown in his fights.

If you think that Wlad looked terrible against Peter... yet still dominated him 10 rounds to 2... that doesn't say much for Peter.

Everyone is aware of the outcome...and the fact that WLAD looked horrible.

He also looked horrible defeating IGGY. You know this already though.

Why you make us tell you something you know already is puzzling.

I don't know if Wlad looked horrible in either fight.

I think he was transitioning into Steward's style and thats what made it not look impressive. He did outbox Sam and he should have been cognizant of protecting himself at all times (even from the shots on the back of the head). Unfortunately, he still does this. He did it in the Rahman fight.

He should have been more aggressive with Sultan. I don't think he will make that mistake again.

Peter clearly hurt Golota with the Hook, not a jab, or as you call it "straight left".

Peter lost the fight by 3 points on all 3 of the judges scorecards, was floored 3 times, and clinched 97 times on to way to victory, I cant see how anyone would call that a dominant performance by Wlad, I'm sure even Wlad himself would disagree with you.

I am wondering after Wlad KO's Haye if this will significantly add to his legacy and maybe vault him up the ranks in some peoples minds?

Whenever I see a list that lists Wlad higher than his brother I have to wonder at the pointlessness of basing your ranking mostly on resume. Also there are guys high on the lists that aren't even cruiserweights. Wlad was sparked by Sanders in 1 round, TKOd by Puritty, barely survived against Peter. Vitali demolished all of them. And if he ever boxes against Wlad he'll wipe the floor with him. And yet most list Wlad much higher based on his resume.

the all time great list isnt based on H2H as that doesnt hold through from era to era, instead think of these criteria.
    1) who they faced in their era
    2) overall record
    3) Titles and title defenses
    4) impact on the sport (fame popularity etc.)

I am surprised since this mornign that the amount of people who rank outside the top 100 has doubled. It is a very hard case to make for Wlad not being in the top 100.
