On SSN earlier said he wasn't at best and ill. Either way i was impressed with him. The fact he told a former world champion in Witter to come to him and fight and way he landed was pretty impressive. He shows no fear at all and has a good career ahead of him.

Strung 14 wins together over various opponents. Wins over Jimmy Colas and Kevin Concepcion to go with his Wins over Lynes and Witter.

He showed he can get down to Welterweight and still look strong as well as his natural weight of Light Middleweight.

If you was Steve Goodwin (Promoter) what would you do with El Maachi??

Keep him at Welterweight? or back up to Light Middle?

And who would he face? He now deserves and needs bigger fights and opportunities but once again he's big risk little reward.

What Top Domestic Fighters Could he beat at WW or LMW?

    WW: Purdy,Jennings,Watson,Gavin,Vassell,

    LMW: Prince Arron, Webb

Obviously we have likes of Cox,Hatton,Saunders to go with them other names.

Yassine is a man on a mission and full of confidence. Most know but for people that don't he was being used as a ''opponent'' against the unbeaten Concepcion so in dressing room before fight he told Frank Maloney that he'd bet his purse with him that he'd spark his man they all laughed. He later proceeded to stop Concepcion.

Yeah he looked strong at WW. Fully deserved it. Why not the winner of Purdy/Watson or a lucrative bout with Hatton, surely this is the whole point of winning Prizefighter because its certainly not the money(£32,000:roll:).
Mccrory was getting on my tits with his bias for Lynes, Colin was running for his life, only engaging when cornered. According to Glen he was putting on a masterclass:nut
And Witter? Damn has anyone stunk up the ring more consistently than Junior? Retire man!!

Yeah he looked huge but not weak at weight which is good sign. Way he played Witter's game and won showed me a lot.

I'd give him a nice 8 round figh at WW within the next few weeks, and put him in with Matt Hatton and denton vessel.

    He'd confuse hatton like a mother****er.

You can't just put him in with Matthew Hatton. What would he gain from fighting el maachi?

I dont think this will change a thing for Yassine. In fact it might make it even harder for him to get fights. I think after this he will be completely frozen out I dont think Sky particulalrly like him. His style is not going to make anyone look good and as he isn't eligible for Euro or British he offers no value whatsoever.

I would have half a mind to try and get him over to the states and do what Theophane did fight as the "opponent" but pull off some upsets. If he gets ranked by a governing body he might then become more attractive.

He can't get a british title shot apparently something to do with his visa. Maybe get a European title shot or intercontinental belt.

This has to be a joke thread.

The guy is going nowhere fighting like that over more than 3 rounds.

Of course you can, Hatton is euro champion, a euro defence can be made against just about anybody, with maachi winning prizefighter it gives a fight between the two more credibility.

As Far as I know he has not got a british passport, you need one to fight for the british title and I would think that the european title is ruled out because he is from Morroco, otherwise after beating Euro no 4 Colas, he would have fought for it by now.

He has challenged many fighters before now who have held British and commonwealth titles at 2 weight divisions but his nationality status has held him back, surely he has been in britain long enough and he is married to an english girl I think, so maybe that could change. He is with a small new promoter in Goodwin so it will not be easy to get the fights he wants, but the prizefighter conquest could change things. A very good fighter, good to watch, always comes for the knockout, maybe international titles are the way, but he is in his thirties, so needs to move quick.
