I personally think he has done a good deal in his early years and he needs to take a year or so to develop his mind.

    Joan Guzman
    loser of Alexander/Bradley
    Ortiz
    Alexander/Bradley winner

then IF he's still around, try Pac/Mayweather

He's young, not ready for the biggies.

I'd say Alexander/Bradley winner is the obvious choice. I think it's what the fans and fighters will want. You never know who it will actually be though. There's a good chance it will be Marquez.

    Winner of Alexander/Bradley
There are a few other fights he can take at 140 first but he wants a unification fight. Especially if he wants to move up.

I now think he should skip the tune up, just wait for alexander/bradley for the summer. If he wants a tune up I say prescott in England to get it out of his head.

Khan will be ruined by most opponents at 140. He will have the most success against shot American-level boxers like Holt, or American-level professionals moving up from lightweight.

He should fight Corley, Holt, Diaz, Urango, Campbell, Forbes, and then retire. He will have made enough money beating these athletes to retire.

He will not be challenged by these domestic-level athletes, and should retire with reputation intact.

Maidana was his first fight in 8 months, and now you want him to sit idle for another 8 months?

His inacitivity this year - 2 measly fights for a 24 year old - didn't do him any favours. He deserves another comfortable fight which will feed him another training camp under Roach. He's got so many things to work on, and I don't blame him if he decides not to face Bradley/Alexander straight away.

Judah would be a good tune up fight before either Bradley or Alexander.

Prescott would be too one sided, Khan would blow him out now... but maybe that's what he needs to do to let the past go and stop trying to prove something to everyone, I dunno.

Fight Maidana again, it was too close, we need another chapter in this war.

There are some Alans on this board suggesting he should be fghting Pac or Mayweather now.

I think that's crazy. Too early. I'd like to see him unify 140 then keep it for a year or 2 (if he can stay at the weight).

No not welter, not yet. Let him stay at 140 for 2 years, there are many fights up there for him, bradley, alexander, ortiz, judah, marquez, maidana 2, then move up face a mayweather in decline which could be a very exciting fight.

Thats the worst idea possible for him right now.

He needs to keep going forwards, not backwards.

Khan needs to take this fight that he had with Maidana and feed off of it,remember it and go into his next big fight (which should be his next fight) with the Maidana fight still in his head fresh.

Your only going to get as good as your competition is unless you raise the bar,Khan did just that with Maidana and cant afford to be going backwards now and dropping down a notch or two.

GBP's plan for him seems ideal to me - fight either Judah or Ortiz in England in March, followed by the Bradley/Alexander winner in June, then another fight before the end of the year.
