That's what I originally was thinking. Does anyone know what kind of PPV # that WWE superbouts generate?
Those numbers are from a long time ago and may be downside numbers. A performer also gets paid according to live event ticket sales, Merchandise, Appearances and PPV buy rates. At a huge event like Wrestle Mania lots of performers will get very large pay outs, as with all PPV throughout the year. WWE has historically had many top notch Boxers take part in their show. Evander Holyfield was on Smackdown, WWE'S Friday night show and a PPV following in the build up to his Ibragimov fight. Ali, Tyson and others have been part of WWE. Floyd is in great company. I think it is great for everyone and they are doing an amazing job building it, as usual. WWE is international and extremely popular throughout many country's. They sell out entire 2 week tours (10 shows, aprox) in many country's throughout the world every year. Wrestle Mania gets over a million PPV buys total...this year should be their best and that's with a PPV every month and about 10 hours of FREE tv (RAW, Smackdown, ECW, Raw Am and spanish broadcasting) every week.
I don't think so. I think the average wrestling fan is probably about 12 or 13 years old. BTW I find it funny that you are cracking on wrestling fans but seem to be one yourself as you know exactly what is going on in the wrestling world.
yeah 20 mil is to much i think, if this is true, then Mayweather is not the only boxers that will make the move to wrestling lol
20 mill may be an exaggeration. but Wrestle mainia is huge WORLDWIDE, a simliar figure wouldnt out of the question.
