It may well have been a basic business decision.
If it wasn't generating sales of anything he was promoting, it was not cost effective, & thus, terminated.

Since the prospect ( & the history) of a several years lay-off & a lucrative return bout have been fading by the month, the site was only really providing a fan club somewhere to meet, & since he was a non participant, there would not have been much point in paying for something he's lost interest in.

If this is the case, I think it pretty much cements what most concluded some time ago, he's done fighting.

He may kick it off again if he has an interest in marketing a boxing series or something but I think that's about as good as it will get some how.

That's just an opinion from me, on the outside looking in.

 

Maybe Kostya just couldn't be arsed having a board/forum for his fans.

Sounds very similar to the news on his site for the past few yrs Bobby Sinn, as always i will be sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation for the illustrious TBA launch of KTs new comeback website, lets prety to the KT gods that this coincides with the news of his TBA opponent that team KT has been seeking for the past few yrs now, Kostyas been training the house down every day now and its only a matter of time before he takes the world by storm yet again!

Well this is what most azz licking delusional KT fans think anyhow, i'd best not go against the grain and get dragged over the coals by BruaFag, Johnny Bow Boy and SillySally and god knows who else. :nut :thumbsup

Ty, I believe the site was still allowing new sign-ups, just not ones from your IP address since you were barred once and for all.

You put up a theory amongst others that the site was closed due to unpaid hosting fees in another thread and now you claim to have spoken to "somebody" who has told you about it. Looks like that multiple personality disorder has kicked in again.

And Ty, it's a bit hypocritical of you to criticise Kostya about "TBA" when you've been telling everyone about your imminent pro debut, Ty v TBA, over the last five years. :roll:

 

Kostya doesnt run the website, Paul Upham was running it and if the hosting fees had not been paid im pretty sure he would know about it as he reported this to another person close to KT.

Retarted it is .. any person is able to change their ip anytime they desire, you can either use a proxy or reset your router and obtain a new IP from your isp pool, the only way to block a person on a dynamic ip is to completley block the entire host range which would be every person using that isp. The signups were closed for EVERYONE! stop clutching at straws and get back to licking windows you fckn ******!

I initally said it could have been down for a few reasons, then i spoke to a mate the other day who is close to KT and Upham, he was told by Upham that it was down due to unpaid hosting fees. Again clutching at straws like a frecking ******, wtf is wrong with you?

Where have you seen Ty vs TBA? i stoped boxing a while ago remember? I put on a tone of weight sitting on my ass all day working an IT job and stoped training then decided id like to have one more go at it before i got to old however offers of opponents are not forthcomming and never have been with my experiance, you make out as if ive been looking for a pro fight for the past 5 yrs, again clutching at straws.

I liked it i hadnt posted there much of late but i still read it.

As for Johnny Lewis and his book.

I didnt mind the book but oh my god he sounded like a old bitter man.

Towards everyone he trained Fenech, Harding, Tszyu.

The only one he was greatful to train sounded like Roswell
