Ey is it just me or has JERMAIN Taylor disapeared? if that's still his name, he might have went into witness protection.:yep I mean since he lost 2 kelly 2 times i think he just vanished. he has a record of like 27-2 that's still very good, but he just is nowhere 2 be found. can some one shed some spotlight on this?

He's hiding from Carl Froch and preparing to face some guy called Jeff Lacy, who apparantly is the new Tyson or something.

If anyone cared enough they would rip Taylor for taking Lacy.

Why San? The Lacy fight is nothing more than a tune up for Jermain. Whats so wrong with the Lacy fight? Whats wrong with taking a tuneup after 2 debilitating defeats?

Jermaine will be back, its good that he has a break from the sport and I think he will have a good 2009. at 168 he can beat anyone, i can see him getting the big fights again and becoming a top 10 p4p fighter.

Jermain Taylor is still a top fighter even though he lost to Palvik that is nothing to be ashamed of. Lacy is a tune up fight. But when ever someone gets defeated people just assume their washed up. Jermain still is young and has lots of talent.

Jermaine has gone back to training rather than talking.. He was brooding after the 2 Pavlik losses and a couple of unconvincing performances before that.. I think he deserves respect because he is taking a nice winnable bout againsta good name..in Lacy.. The win over Lacy may put his mind on straight after a bad couple of years.. I like him.. I hope he comes back with venom...........

Lacy is shot, and well beneath a direct encounter for someone of Taylor's supposed stature. There's no challenge there, and Froch was available for a title fight. Money as an argument here is weak, Lacy isn't a strong seller.

That's an interesting angle. ^ When you put it that way it's completely different. Good insight.

Jermain can still offer a lot. There was nothing in his second fight with Pavlik. Since Pavlik is everybodies hero, we must rationally conclude that Taylor is right up there with the best.

Thanks:good Also the feeling i get is that Dibella and Team Taylor want to make some cash fighting Lacy before going over to fight for a title. Along with this the Lacy fight will tell us something of Taylors confidence as well as his worth at 168. So after the Lacy fight expect Taylor to be calling out anyone and everyone at 168, this includes Kessler, who after the fight with Joe seems intent on fighting cabdrivers, that in my opinion even Lacy could beat:good

He is contemplating about an early retirement after realizing he has already maxed out his potential, and there is no way he could beat the ass of Pavlik.
