Just curious. WTF do you do with them when on the web are remastered videos in HD Dolby surrounded of thousands of fights where you can even hear the sound of the punches?
About 2 decades ago (my, how time flies!) I used to buy fight films on VHS (remember those?, LMAO), then shifted to buying DVDs when most sellers started phasing out VHS. I ended up disavowing buying fights altogether when a couple of fights I purchased ended up appearing on YT w/in a week. Sadly, many of those sellers still had some ultra rare fights that have never made their way to YT, & now that most sellers are no longer in business (some that I used to deal w/ are even deceased), those fights may be effectively lost to the general public.
No. At least not at the time I ordered stuff from him, I would have noticed that. I doubt this was filmed btw...
There is footage of them shadow boxing one another note the photos of them “sparring” they’re not wearing gloves.
The new era of recording is a high definition mp4 computer file at either 720p or 1080p, which definitely is superior to the quality of a dvd.
Yes of course, but a lot of older fights are only on dvd. Way back, I transferred my collection from VHS to dvd (it took two years) If course quality is nor the best, but the fights are saved.
You go on YouTube? You may have encountered a certain Gary Wilson Classic Boxing, which is me, i figured rather than have fights gathering dust in the attic, setting up a channel would be constructive & one which fans would appreciate & enjoy.
Hot take: anybody still treating rare fights like commodities and keeping them hoarded on DVD instead of digitizing them for pro omnibus posterity in the big 2025 is just a crap human being and deserves neither their precious commodity nor the air they breathe.
