That's a big aboutface. You were on the Cronje can beat Pitt bandwagon for weeks.

It was bizarre to say the least, 2 elbows in the first round. What the **** was he thinking. That must have been plan A. Wouldn't want to imagine what plan B was :rofl

7 weeks recovery and prep for Ammann is doable:think

Who else does Brad Pitt have in mind? Looks to me like Ammann vs Cronje was effectively an eliminator to fight Pitt.

That would be the only credible choice domestically, otherwise it would be a low line overseas gatekeeper sort.

Exactly, and that date has been locked in as "opponent TBA" for weeks :good

Pitt is not a 12 round fighter, he has major stamina issue imo. He faded hard in the berridge fight if I remember correctly. Spider please correct me if I'm wrong, again :nut

I've recently found out who Daniel Ammann is and he fights out of the same gym that I've joined since coming to newie. If anyone is interested I can take some Qs from the guys on here and ask him or Pete? If not just ignore me.
Is there a video for this sounds ridiculous, there was a British fight about a year ago where the guy came in and headbutted him in basically the first exchange.

Daniel Ammann best Australian fights for 2010 when he dropped a close twelve round points decision to Dominic Vea in a nationally Foxtel televised Commonwealth cruiserweight title bout.

The Casey fight? Has got a stamina issue, but unless someone has a medical issue, fitness can be worked on......as long as the training intensity and desire is there. Pitt did tweet the other day that he had a VO2 max test. Mind you, this was followed by a frown face. It suggests that his team know the issue has been there and are working on it.....The frowny face also suggests that he doesnt have the love for the fitness, some guys do, some dont.

Another roving reporter is always welcome mate, and we dont hear a lot about Ammann. I'll have to have a think. His plans, was the main thing I was interested in and he's made them public now.

Domenic Vea is a name that has disappeared off the radar. Hasn't fought in over a year. His last 3 fights were all hard fought and might have taken there toll perhaps?
