    1. Retire
    2. Golovkin

    2. would be a massive payday, but a potential horrific beating in front of his hometown faithful

He has nothing left to prove

He's went so far above and beyond for such a limited fighter it's unbelievable

He should do what Juan should have December 8th 2012

I'd like to see him fight DeGale Or Golovkin. No need for a Dirrell rematch which would be just as ugly as before regardless of who wins or a Ward match that Ward would win again.

I wish fans on here would stop talking about A's and B sides tho. We really shouldn't care about all that. It's not like we're seeing any of that money so no need for us to care so passionately.

DeGale fight is far bigger than a Golovkin fight, Kessler fight too.

You sure about that? GGG is pretty well known and hyped right now. I think there is more fan interest in Froch vs GGG than Froch vs DeGale.

Kessler is basically retired. A fight now would be pointless.

Kessler hasnt won a fight in 2 and a half years

I just don't like to passionately debate a fight that realistically can't take place, based on actual quotes from the fighters themselves.

he did try, ward preferred a tune-up.

probably retirement, if he can cope without boxing.

No, it isn't. DeGale is not that popular and Kessler is no longer high profile due to inactivity.

Froch v Golovkin would a fantastic fight. According to Hearn, Froch is up for it so it's a possibility...

    :good

Outside of hardcore boxing fans no one in the UK has a clue who DeGale is

I know a lot of UK guys (and girls) who know who Gennady is

    That fight would be massive

If his dream fight with jnr in Vegas has fallen through, then GGG would be far and away the most lucrative

And it would be just like Carl to go out on his shield fighting who many consider the p4p best fighter on the planet for his final fight

Of course I'm sure. DeGale is a British Olympic gold medallist and would be world champion, it would clearly be the bigger fight in the UK.

    Both Matchroom/Sky promoted too.

Hardly, it would be the completion of a trilogy and a big money fight.

I dont know about that, the groves thing just took off from the controversy and the marketing which both fighters were helping out a lot in. Degale could be big but people might be a bit sick of this kind of this staright away again,I am. Golovkin fight I think should do better, he should have got someone better than Monroe though to get the hype going

Domestic fights almost always do better. Froch would sell against anyone but a world champion DeGale is the stronger B-side.

it will be three in a row though with another unproven brit. It wont have the same banter in the build up and nothing controversial
