I think that after a few months off Katsidis should be facing a few top 20 opponents for a confidence booster and to get a few W's on the record. What do you guys think he will do?
who cares the footy gf is on. u shouldnt be talking about anything other then the footy. start this thread later tonight. goodbye.
He has said that he isnt interested in having a tune up fight and only wants to fight the big names which is fair enough as he may as well make as much money as he can while he can. In saying that, for his career its probably better in the long run to take on a few opponents of lesser quality before going after the big names.
He needs to earn enough money to set himself up for his soon to come Post fight career , He cant keep taking **** like he has been taking recently , his style was always going to make for a short career , Fight the be$$$t out there for you Kats and retire with ya brains semi intact . As for his career ? WELL IT WAS ****ING AWESOME WHILE IT LASTED .will be the general synopsis when he is done . :deal
Yeh that is true, however i think that at least one tune up fight with a top 15 opponent could still feature on a hbo card and keep people interested in his career
true.out of australias high profile boxers he is my favourite.he would not run from kessler or garay like our 2 best known boxers only for one of them to come out of retirement and fight a meaningless rematch as will happen with mundine and green.:dead
personally i didnt think garay would give green any problems,he was a fairly straight forward walk up fighter
Garay still would have been a nightmare fight for Danny I reckon, he was a fair dinkum light heavy with an underrated defence, who threw all night and was tough as nails. As strong a puncher as Danny was, I think he would have hard time keeping Garay off him. I still think his jab would have been the difference. That was the only think that kept Erdei in his fights against Garay and though Danny isnt as quick or defensively as good, his jab was a hell of a lot harder and would have have given him the room needed to do his best work.
