Thats what happens when you cut corners in training and dont give your camp or diet 110% commitment. Cotto is one of my favourite fighters but he needs to get his fat lazy ass in shape and get back down to welterweight where he belongs before it gets worse.

It's time for Cotto to retire, he has had quite the journey and you can tell he's ready to hang them up.

yes i felt so bad for the champion cotto is.. he looked lost for words at the end like he couldn't breath right. miguel is a warrior, boxing wouldn't be the same without him. much love to cotto and his team.. just like hitman

More like he was "shot" going into the Pacquiao fight, but then was "rejuvinated" before fighting Mayweather, then returned to being "shot" immediately afterward.

He wasn't quite there mentally. He was getting a little too sentimental about family and retirement. There wasn't that same hunger in him last night. He looked like he was just going through the motions. I think it's time to hang them up. Maybe one last farewell fight and call it a career. It's been a good one, came up short against the very best but beat a lot of good fighters on the way in 3 weight divisions. No shame in what he's achieved in boxing.
