He relies on rolling punches rather than actually moving his head. Vic throws straight and uppercuts. He loops sometimes but those were easily rolled by Mijares. But when those came straight and underneath he looked like a fish out of water. Vic outboxed him as well. Mijares was the one missing all of his power shots.

Vic made his adjustments and I am surprised Mijares didnt. Vic should have a Donaire rematch or face Montiel.

He's johnco's new account. He's trying to be mysterious but it's painfully obvious. The *******s lack the mental capacity to hide these things.

Like I said in the other thread... the problem with boxing fans nowadays is that when a fighter loses or gets knocked down they are seen as "overrated".

People said Cotto was overrated after Margarito beat him. Same with Juan Diaz after losing to Nate Campbell. All of a sudden both those guys are "overrated".

Mijares wasn't a champion because he was overrated. Darchinyan had quicker handspeed, was landing his vaunted left hand at will, and beat Mijares soundly. He got KO'd, plain and simple, by the better man tonight, and Vic is now undisputed champ.

He BETTER fight Montiel in his next defense, however.

Montiel had troubles with Gorres, how can he do it against a more powerful Donaire?
