Exactly this. Yeah he was smashing D level opponents and was doing highlight reel KOs but even against this D truck drivers he was still getting countered here and there.

That style just not going to work against top opposition. And also he will gas out. Big guy like him throwing monstrous combos, obviously he will empty his gas tank pretty fast.

And people should stop saying trying to outbox Usyk. This just show their lack of knowledge. He didn't try to do that neither the first time around, neither the second, forget the b.c. excuses from Hearn.

He was staying on the outside, waiting to counter Usyk, when he get into range, but Usyk was just too good, too slick, too fast to be countered.

But AJ is still top notch counter puncher with very aggressive nature, but he has to learn how to use it effectively, and when to push and when not to.

He fight the same way against Pulev. Waiting on the outside, he counter one lazy jab from Pulev with monster right hand, hurt Pulev and then start his barrage of punches.
He did the same thing with Povetkin. He was setting Povetkin with the body shot, and then goes to the head. But he was waiting carefully for the right moment.

Same with Usyk fight, but Usyk is just too good for that.

We all saw the old AJ a few minutes after the winner was announced . Joshua did more damage to his image with his rant than the actual loss to Usyk .

    Where was Wlad against Fury?

Footwork and movement got in the way. Simple as that.
