You have been here for 3 years and yet get stroppy because he said the fans lack passion, that aint **** compared to what is said about the Brits by some posters, I take it you get your feelings hurt a lot here as your sensitivity mixed with the amount of ****s on the internet don't go well together.

No no. He bashed "Yanks" and said we dont deserve good fighters because we dont travel across country. Because we are lazy.

I dislike anyone bashing any country for whatever reason.

Bashing a country bashed on fans is utterly ******ed.

"Americans actually have lives we can't go to Germany to watch boxing"

If you have such a hectic social life that you cannot take a weekend break in Germany then why do you have time to post on here? I'm sure the total time you have spent on here could fill several weekends.

Pretty safe to say my former post on this topic remains.

Brewster is not a dymanic guy. He doesnt have the wide backing of anyone, never has. He has shown he is not sueprstar material perviously (watch the Meehan fight). Now if this was an american superstar on the level of the Euro fighters like Hatton, Kessler and JC than you would have seen more wide support.

Comparing Brewster to to Hatton is not a sound analogy.

it's extremely unfair to compare the american fans to the british. the british own all other fans at all sports. look at the following the english football team gets at big tournaments, look at the support the english cricket team gets no matter where they play, in the last ashes series down under, the big the battering england got, the louder our fans chanted, look at the support the british and irish lions team gets when they go on tour. it's not a fair comparison.

a more fair question is would many germans and ukranians made the journey to the states to watch brew-wlad?

When have americans ever followed a fighter of their own overseas in big numbers?

I also just want to add that I go to several BIG fights every year. These big USA names do not have to travel because the USA pays their fighters well and doesnt make them kiss ass to get televised by the networks.

    De La Hoya
    Floyd Mayweather
    Jermain taylor
    Bernard Hopkins

Have no problem getting a following. I could name 15 more guys that are more popular and better p4p fighters than Lamon. Understand now?

im an american and ive made several trips to supports boxers i like ive gone to vegas and new jersey several times. going to germany or england is another thing entirely. as much as id like to travel to germany and catch a great fight and support my countrymen it isnt just a get up and go thing on the spur of the moment and it is alot more expensive than going to atlantic city or vegas for the weekend. but the point is if i could do it i would for now ill be at buffalo wild wings watching all the fights i cant see in person argueing in boxings favor with the unwashed hordes of mma fans

I sure it could but it's spread out over 3 ****in years. I'm not going to Germany to watch a fight not happening. I went to Vegas to watch Hopkins vs Taylor 1 and that's as far as I will go for a fight. Plus I hate ****in flying.
