Yea it is sad that this is what america has turned into. At least us diehard fans can hold some pride over our heads.

I'd love to come to Europe to support a fighter that I LIKE.

    I cant afford it.

What a silly question! A British dust collector earns more money than an Ukranian top scientist.Ukraine is an economically poor country compared with GB.
Of course Ukranians support their fighters, but they lack the money to follow them abroad.
You can find British tourists everywhere here in europe due to their high salaries which allows them to travel wherever they want to and live like kings and counts.

Boxing doesn't get main stream coverage over here either. Which is why it's up to the fans. Without being critical you guys should mobilise yourselves and join the party. Being a travelling fan is amazing.

In all honesty, while I am a boxing fan, I do support American Football more than any other sport. So while I can afford to travel to support a fighter I really love, I live in an NFL city and my season tickets come first.

I would have traveled to see RJJ fight. But he never left the country.

    I understand that.

Boxing is first for me. Although I am huge Dallas Cowboys fan :good

I live in Southern California and I have never been a fan of the chargers but I will say this.

I have canceled plans for RJJs fights.

Yah, but being a minor sport and not being considered are two different things. There was no coverage in my local newspaper about today's fight. None.

Look at ESPN.COM. Look at ALL the sports ahead of boxing on their lists.

I would assume that Boxing is what, the 6-7th most important sport in Britain?

(i don't know honestly, you will have to tell me). It rates MUCH lower than that here.

Well I am in Jacksonville, and we have the Jags. RJJ is from Pensacola, my hometown, so I would go see him fight.

But let me ask you.....you are in southern Cali. If PBF and DLH fought on the same night as USC-UCLA, where would the majority of TV fans be in Southern Cali?

PS. Chargers look damn good this year lol.

We get all the beer here you Brits have over there, but I agree with you our "light" beer is very light.

Regardless, make the pbf/hatton fight anywhere and Ill be there!

At best it gets a small artice burried in the sports pages of a national newspaper. When lewis was around he would get a page. Hatton get an article if he's stepping up. The tabloids do a bit more but no one with a brain wastes their money on them. UK sports at a guess

Thats going by newspaper coverage. However boxing attracts more die hard fans than most except football.

International cricket gets a lot of coverage, but when where you last at a county game? I'm a regular at lancashire and unreserved seating is the norm I never see that at Sale Sharks.
