We upgraded and got great seats at PP,just down from the Boxnation area but I honestly thought the SECC would have a screen for this one.Never heard a word of the interviews either and still haven't seen them.
Got to meet Buncey afterwards and have to say he was top quality.Very happy to have a good blether.
I met one Englishman the whole night and he was supporting Ricky!:happy

Wholeheartedly agree with the point in bold. It sounded like they left a ten year-old in charge of the soundboard. Could barely hear the entrance music, let alone Michael Buffer.

Good, glad I wasn't the only one! I had my iPhone ready to record his famous "lets get ready to rumble" but the sound was that bad I don't know if he even said it!

He did. I managed to hear it (just) over the "Kevin Mitchell, you're a w*nker" chants, which I hoped would've died down to let Buffer speak. Sadly, that wasn't the case.

No, he said it's the poorest place in Britain, which it is.

Glasgow is a ****ing great city, Ross Kemp simply picked a prostitute and a junkie and decided to follow them around. Of course you will find poverty in any major city if you go looking for it, **** sake.

I think I heard a couple of cockney's speak. A bit of trouble in the crowd but it was probably between ourselves. The guys in my row were sniffing Charlie like they were in a toilet cubicle.

    Yeah, I heard them twice.

They actually got the chanting started, "walking in a Mitchell wonderland". Then nothing until half way through the fourth round  Just when Burns put his foot down, they started singing again, was quality, then it kind of just dropped off...

The English were an unhappy bunch.

To be fair, the undercard had three fighters I really, really wanted to see in Saunders, Simpson and the Comeback Kiiiiing, maybe that's jus tpersonal tatste but I thought the undercard was pretty much quality and the pre-show was ****ing choca.

You thought the undercard was quality? It was dog ****, not one competitive fight on the whole card.

    Standard.

But as I said, I was very keen to see some of the fighters on that undercard.

But you said the under card was quality? :huh It was dreadful.

Seeing Simpson,Harrison and Saunders fight journeymen was barely watchable.

I was sitting next to Stephen Simmon's relatives but I missed his fight. How did it go?(Quality wise)
I agree, even though there were good fighters on the U/C,it was pretty dreadful.Love John Simpson but you expect a good battle when he's on,although that's not his fault. As for the comeback king,I've never been a fan and I'm disgusted at the possibility of him getting a shot at Ricky.:-(
