I don't how else to say this to you so i'll just say the same thing again and hope you understand: I liked the undercard. I enjoyed it. Sorry.
Well the business is disgusting then, because that fight is so obvious even a one year promoter would make it.
Of course it makes financial sense, but do you really think Harrison deserves it? Say it ain't so McGrain.
Home Boxers Hugh Grey 1st fight & Ryan Collins 2nd fight are good prospects Collins looks a strong aggresive fighter
I dunno if he deserves it or not but he is a two-time world champion and one of the ten greatest fighters ever to hail from this country. He's a little **** but he's boxing royalty, too. "Great" fighters on the comeback trail traditionally get the bump if they want it. It's ok by me. More than that, it's a 100% natural "goodbye Scotland" fight if he wants to try Vegas. I mean having someone else in the other corner for that fight would be ridiculous, don't you agree?
I'd agree if it was maybe two years out of the ring, but given the time frame Harrison's been away, and how poor he looked against a Z list opponent,I really think he has to prove himself against a quality operator at British level minimum. You have to remember that myself and others feel that Harrison brought a bit of disrepute to Scottish boxing(and I know he brought great respect before that) and for a while, when people thought of Scottish boxers, they thought of him and his nonsense. I'm the last person on earth who can judge someone because of their past though, and my gripe is purely on a boxing level. At this stage,he does not deserve a shot at Burns for me. Weird to think that they used to train at gyms 300 yards apart, but what a reversal of fortunes from that time.
