Where were you when you heard/saw the news?

    I didn't think too much of Spinks back then either. I thought Holmes beat him twice. You can make a case for Spinks in their 1st fight, but Holmes won the rematch by about 4 rounds IMO. I knew Tyson would crush him.

    I thought Holmes was dumb for coming back without a tune up and underestimating Tyson. I liked Holmes but he didn't take the fight serious. He took it easy during training and even recorded music. He did well until the 4th round. Prime vs. Prime? I'll take Holmes.

    I didn't think Bruno was gonna do much. I was surprised Tubbs even made it out of the 1st round. I wanted to see Witherspoon get a shot but I'm sure Tyson would have stopped him.

    Home watched it with my family. Funnily enough about the only fight I missed of his was the buster Douglas fight. I remember the back of the newspaper next day and my jaw dropped. The folks didn't think it was worth the PPV lol.
