I completely agree with this part, and that's the only way to assess P4P.....and even then it's fantasy/subjective. But on that basis of resume then, how can Spence be above Anthony Joshua? Let's say that as two undefeated champions, the Brook/Parker wins cancel each other out..... What do you have left? Klitschko v Peterson? Whyte v Bundu? Takam v Algieri? Breazeale v Lo greco? It's pretty clear Joshua's resume is better. Yet Spence is considered P4P top 10.
He ranks outside the top 10 in 99% of people's rankings, because they clearly have something against him on here. I've always fought for his cause, while most other people don't even acknowledge him in their 'just missed the cut' part. That's how horribly underrated this man is on here, and it's criminal. I really do hope people give Badou Jack the credit he deserves once he pummels stevenson and throws him into the garbage can. I already rate him 7th or 8th, something along those lines. He's done so much more than the likes of Crawford, Garcia etc, who haven't beat a fly yet.
Jack would still be far below Beterbiev, Kovalev, Bivol, Gvozdyk. Beating Stevenson means nothing, hell, he seems to be retired. He won't fight a legit threat! WBC will not force him to fight his mandatory...............
Bivol? This is getting a joke now. Is P4P all about potential? Because Bivol doesn't have a world level fighter on his resume.
as much as I want Jack to win since Stevenson is a child trafficker I can't see it, AS wins by KO and Ward should comeback and destroy him
Yep and surely resume is the only true way of guaging talent? There aren't many active boxers that have proved their level through actual quality wins better than Badou Jack. Less than a handful.
US biased? Jack is Swedish. I had Froch comfortably p4p top ten before he retired as did most. Plenty of fighters have better wins than Jack? Who are these guys?
Most people on here had Wlad p4p#1 before he lost to Fury. Joshua is top ten easy right now. Joshua has the better single win than Jack in Wlad, but Jacks resume is that bit deeper.
