Where will the loser of Martinez-Chavez go from there?

An immediate rematch? I think that depends very much on how it goes and I think it'll only happen if Martinez wins.Sergio needs mega-fights at this stage so as long as Jnr holds his own and puts up a show,I think TR will make Sergio an offer he can't refuse.
If Chavez wins a close fight,I think they'll try and hold off in the hope Sergio gets too old(in boxing years) and try to get two easier fights inbetween.
Personally,my prediction for the fight is that Jnr will shock many with a great performance, keeping the scorecards tight, but Martinez will stop him very, very late by putting him under the sort of pressure he's never experienced.Maybe even a towel from the corner.
But I reckon we'll have people praising Jnr for the courage he displays in his performance, and Arum will push for a straight rematch with silly money for Martinez.
A close decision/robbery for Chavez will be bad news for Martinez in more ways than the obvious negatives. If they scrape by,Sulaiman and Arum will do all they can to freeze him out.
A resounding Martinez victory will probably see the aforementioned old *******s join forces to try and get that WBC belt out of Sergio's hands without Jnr having to fight him again for it.
I can't see too many other possible outcomes eg.Chavez winning by KO,so I've left those possibilities open.
It's taken a while, but I'm finally excited about this fight, but I'm worried about the scorecards if Martinez isn't winning comfortably.
    Thanks for looking.:thumbsup

Sky is the limit for Chavez Jr.
A loss he could easily rebound from.

Sergio suffer's an "L" and he is done @ elite level.
Nobody would care to fight him based on his lack of draw power & his danger factor.

If Jnr wins, how long do you see him hanging around at 160 HR?

Chavez will probably go up in weightclass(es) after, and maybe can pick up another WBC belt somewhere in the near future.

Who says he has to? :blood

Ward already dropped the WBC belt because he doesn't want to fight one of the Dirrell brothers, and no matter who holds it at the time Suleiman finds a way to hand it to jr anyway.

Losing would hurt Chavez more. His marketability boils down to his surname, his zero, and being a Roach product. Take away any of those, and he's not the money-making hype machine that he presently is.

Martinez would probably be cut some slack for losing to a gigantic middleweight just about young enough to be his own son (y'know, if he knocked up some Mexican chica at the very beginning of puberty) when he himself is a career light middleweight who started boxing much later in life than most people can ever do and rise to any level of success.

There would still be a big payday or two out there for him if he wanted them.

Chavez, the bubble would be burst. It would be back to Latin Fury PPV's if he wanted to build his brand back up (or just keep bilking those poor loyal Sr. fans back home) but more likely he'll just retire in shame.
