    I respectfully disagree.

He is sloppy, uncoordinated, and often fights stupidly for a big man.

He might be more Ray Imperlitiere, than Primo Carnera.

Having said that, he is a lot cleverer than given credit for, and might give us a few surprises.

Ray imperlitiere. Your kidding right? Imperlitiere never even sniffed top 20 in the 1930s when the heavyweight division was filled with light heavyweights

Derek Chisora, who received a boxing lesson from Fury, would have starched imperlitiere in under 5 rounds.

Fury is number 4 in the world in an era of big powerful men. He's already accomplished more than Ray did in his entire career.

Lastly, the eye test. Fury looks Far better than ham n ever imperlitiere and he definitely looks better than carnera.

Fury is fluid in his movement and punches. Carnera is stiff, uncoordinated, unathletic, he doesn't hit hard, he can't box, he has no footwork, his defense is putrid.

Carnera thought Larry gains was tough? Cunningham would have embarrassed Carnera. 119-109 all three cards for Cunningham

If you don't know what PERVIOUS means , man up and say so.:-(( You'll have to change the arena , I'm banned from the Kitten Candy Club, but I'm ok in the Crokodil Bar Soi 5 Phuket or Gulliver's Bar Nana District. Bangkok. Well, do I pack my bow tie or not?:think

Sad to say but I've come to the conclusion that Wlad, even if he gets destroyed by Fury, would probably be ranked Top 5. Even though he conquered the weakest era in the division's history it still says a lot that he dominated the way he did. Now if we're talking H2H he doesn't sniff the Top 10...

Fury has been very cannily matched, after Cunningham exposed his chin he has taken a diversion ,they had second thoughts about taking an in shape Ustinov and bailed out.
Fury is not a top level banger but he does have big ***** unlike Wlad ,so he might make things interesting, if he doesn't run into something heavy early. Chisora is not and never has been a puncher, he is very ripe for the taking by any young up and comer like Joshua.
One thing, Wlad will not be able to do his party piece of laying all over his opponent, Fury will hit him in the nuts if he tries it.

Hows this era **** poor? This era is MUCH better than the 30s, 50s or 80s. Wlad's dominating is perfectly average HW period so he deserves credit for that.

    Meant 1960

Size matters. The big men of the past 30 years have a lot more speed, skills, technique, movement, athleticism, and amateur pedigree than the old timers like Carnera, willard, Simon, baer, fulton

Ali, Louis, Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson are the only guys id rank above Wlad in terms of resume.

I think Holmes and Wlad are 50/50, they both beat some very good fighters, but also a load of what i call "fillers", guys who are good, but not exactly career enhancing. Guys like Cobb and Jennings etc.

Foreman has 2 great wins, and a handful of very good wins,

Carnera would beat Cunningham the same way Fury did. Carnera KOed Sharkey and outpointed Loughran. Using his size to beat an older smaller technician is right up his alley.

    Thank you, I have.

I dare venture that I paid a lot more attention than you did!

    No he wouldn't.

He would have used his size advantage in a rational way, and Cunningham would never have dropped him!
