Wlad has already accomplished more than every heavyweight champion in history except Louis Ali And possibly Lewis and Holmes

When you add his incredible record, longevity and combine it with his head to head power 6'6 250lb incredible power in both fists elite defense great skills ATG jab immense strength wonderful footwork superior athleticism and high ring IQ.....then you have a top 5 ATG

I don't need to defend Wlad he's already accomplished greatness

I beg to differ , he's stunk out a lot of joints as far as I'm concerned.

Suzie, you back on the weed ?

    You started a thread yesterday...

    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=542852

...and then abandoned it when it suddenly seemed a bit silly.

Now a day later, you're posting the same kind of nonsense ?

I'm a big fan of Wlad's and he's in my top ten, and I get a kick out of Fury. His interviews are gold !

And he's a better boxer than he's often given credit for on here and I've been following him since his third pro bout, and he's probably getting' KO'd in in Deutschland soon, but yesterday and today, you're making him out as a h2h superstar.

Who has he beaten that would even remotely justify your thread yesterday or your post quoted above.

As they say round here, catch yourself on !

I encourage everyone to read Carnera's own promoters (!) opinion about his own fighter. He said Carnera was regularly dropped in sparring by fighters 50 lbs lighter than him. "If only he didn't have this terrible glass jaw". Carnera was a classic case of taking a bodybuilder and sticking him in a boxing ring. He had zero boxing ability, he had a glass jaw but he made for a good story and tabloid photos.

I meant beat him by KO. I don't see primo getting dropped by Cunningham either.

I'm sorry what has carnera ever demonstrated on film?

I don't see anything remotely good

If he walked into a gym today and fought with that kind of style he would be laughed at

Fury is a fighter, carnera is a freak show attraction

Watch the harder they fall. Great movie. Toro is based upon primo carnera

And this explains the Mansour and Carnera ****ogy?

Carnera reminds you of a 6 foot pressure fighter...., who nearly beat Cunningham in a close fight.....

To your question....win the world title and beat Loughran

Cunningham won the fight easily. Carnera and mansour both are physical specimens more body builders than fighters without extensive amateur experience. Both are stiff, and lack any fluidity, both have weak chins, both are not polished boxers

Carnera Loughran might be the only real win Carnera has that wasn't fixed. Decent win. That said, he stepped on loughra a toe early breaking it, so loughran couldn't move the rest of the fight. Loughran was also tiny 180 something pounds and he couldn't hit hard enough to break an egg. Steve Cunningham, is 6'3 210lb with an 82" reach, not too far off Carnera except in weight

He won the world title over a grossely out of shape champion who appeared to be in on it, who already easily beat Carnera 14 rounds to 1 2 years earlier.

If Wlad defeats Fury a substantive argument can be made to place him as high as third all time. He is already the second longest tenured heavyweight champion of all time only to Joe Louis. He is one defense away of tying Larry Holmes for second all time in consecutive title defenses. If you include his early run as WBO champion he has the most title fights of any hw champion. He has dominated his era, not coming close to losing in a decade. He has fought all comers (save his brother obviously), many prime opponents with a very wide variety of styles.
His resume will age very nicely indeed. It's nearly impossible at this point to keep him out of the top ten by any respectable observer.

Too much wrong with this post. Cunningham did not easily beat Mansour, it was a hard fought win in which he for busted open, took heavy punishment And was dropped hard twice. And Mansour and Carnera couldn't be more different physically or stylistically.

It's sad to see you like this man, what happened?
