just as a point of reference Usyk's heavyweight run currently sits as...
    Chazz Witherspoon
    Derek Chisora
    Anthony Joshua x2
    Daniel Dubois x2
    Tyson Fury x2

I mean beating Wardley wouldnt be his worst win at heavyweight. I'd rank it easily above Chazz, Maybe above the first dubois fight and debating saying the chisora fight.

Has the potential to age really well.

Lower than Fury, AJ and Dubois.

As @Barrf said, it could possibly age well.

He's a top contender it would help

Look at Marciano's record, some of the #1 rated guys didn't go on to bigger things, but they were the best that were available at the time.

This will be Usyks worst HW world title win and theres like a 95% chance it will remain so when Usyk retires.

To be clear I'm ranking that win over Chisora and Chazz.

Better than Dubois 1, no? Dubois hadn't beaten anyone at the time. Parker qnd probably Huni are better wins than any he had before the first fight.

Depends on the context. We haven't seen the fight, and the quality of scrap should count in addition to significance. Also, we don't know how Wardley's name will age. Off the top of my head, I rank it above Dubois 1, Chazz, and Chisora.

    Fury 1
    Joshua II
    Fury II
    Joshua
    Dubois II
    Wardley
    Dubois 1
    Chisora
    Witherspoon

And I don't give a damn what anybody says...if we are picking the overall top ten...

    Fury 1
    Briedis
    Joshua II
    Fury II
    Joshua
    Dubois II
    Wardley
    Dubois 1
    Chisora
    Gassiev

Well, if we scoot back a few weeks before the overrated Parker was beaten, Wardley was considered a bad boxer with a big punch.
Likelihood is that he ends up with a patchy record that doesn't impress anyone.
If he becomes a champion and beats a bunch of top fighters, I guess it will age well.
It's all just interpretation anyway and swings everywhere based on bias.

Look at how Chisora and Wallin are treated whether they are Fury's opponents or someone else's. Chisora was considered a mediocre opponent until others wanted to fight him as a name opponent, then he became a good opponent. Wallin was terrible for Fury but a good opponent for AJ in Arabia instead of fighting Wilder.

You can just make up any story you want.

I don't think Wardley has been proven to be as good as any HW Usyk has beaten except the first old one. But he could turn out to be better than Dubious and Chisora in the end. At this time those two have better wins though.

Unfortunately we wont know because Fabio wins. Its his destiny. Boxings greatest ever story will be completed. Down 11 Rounds, Round 12, ends exactly like Rocky 2. Only Wardley makes it back to his feet at 8, Usyk slumps like Apollo. Destiny fulfilled.

Not unless Usyk is faded with age, which is possible since he will be age 39 when they fight in February or March.

Hey! If Rocky can do a 33 year old Creed Wardley can do Usyk

Before you say its not real, it was real, or my childhood was fake.

Yeah and he'd lost to Joyce. Wardley is undefeated and on a roll right now

It would be a perfectly good addition to his record
A respectable win just not one many will remember him for
