I think a fury fight would be one for the purists.. a technical affair that could go either way

For my money, he beats the rest in hand

Fraudleys lack of chin and heart would always be his Achilles.. He’ll be in the same position..

He'd fit right where he was during his career, on the stretcher.

He'd go down like a lead balloon...he has to rate as the only Olympic medalist with the least heart for the job...absolute disgrace.

Seeing as most of today's HW are average, at best, I think he'd fit in OK in the mix.

Harrison wouldn`t even crack the top 10, he had no talent at all and a lousy trainer.

Audley was a great talker and got big fights off the back of his amateur career. He was a lousy professional.

The blueprint to beat him was to bumrush him from the first second of round 1 and throw bombs. He reacted very poorely to being hit with power shots, whether they landed on the chin or not. All the fight went right out of him as soon as his opponent was aggressive and looking to cause pain.

He would be the same today as he was then in my view. He simply wasnt very good as a professional. His prime was around top 25 in the world, and he would be about there today.

i always liked Fraudley, & wanted to believe he'd do well, but, y'know, he never did. why would it be any different today?

I think he would fit nicely slumped over, unconcious in the corner of the ring.

    Shockingly similar to Charles Martin.

Both are big South paws who often just go to sleep in the fight. Both had farcical title reigns (Fraudley because the WBU title is a joke, Martin because he beat a bum in a vacancy match for it and then abjectly surrendered it).

You can say what you will about this era, but it is light years better than the post-Lewis years, and there are some hard boiled mother****ers who will teach Audley a boxing lesson.
