Where would a prime Felix Trinidad feature in todays welterweight top 10?

Styles make fights bottom line. Clottey would have similar success against Tito that Winky had, Floyd would easily outbox him with superior skills and speed, and PTP outworks him to a UD imho.

Yea I know, I watched that fight and he did move around the ring pretty well. What I meant was, if Margarito managed to land some nice shots, would a more faster, accurate, harder puncher in Trinidad be able to slow down William's 100+ punch output? If you watch the 9th, 10th and 11th rounds, Margarito managed to slow down and hit Williams with some flush shots. Trinidad was one of the best finishers of his time keep in mind...The only thing I see hurting Trinidad against Williams is PTP reach advantage (keep Tito away) and Tito's horrible footwork....

Margarito also possesses an unbelievable chin which allows to remain poised even after his opponent lands big shots. Although I would envision PTP winning on the cards, in my mind it is conceivable to PTP not only could hurt Tito but perhaps score a KO as I don't believe Tito would just be able to walk right threw his onslaught for 12 rounds as Margarito did.

We don't know how much, if anything, Mayweather has lost since Hatton and DLH.

Assuming he's still the same, I would pick him to outpoint Tito.

Williams would probably do so too at Welterwt.

Prime Mosley would probably do so as well, but not current Mosley.

So I would put PRIME Tito in the top three of todays crop.

    Mosley could beat him.

I don't think he would steamrolled the division, like he is the ATG. He was a big WW, but you also have Mosley, Margarito, Williams and Cintron, who are also big, and can also punch.

Mayweather, Cotto, Clottey definitely will give him fits as well.

He will have his hands full if ever.

My arguement was backed up by what has already happened. Your's is backed up by your pure insinuation. :D

Floyd has only fought Michelle, Judah and Baldomir at 147 . . . Hatton is not even considered because he is a 140 pounder and you're comparing it to these? Hector Camacho (43-2); Luis Campas (56-0); Oba Carr (32-0); Ray Lovato (21-1); Kevin Lueshing (19-1); Pernell Whitaker (42-2); Hugo Pineda (36-1) and Oscar De La Hoya (31-0)

Even if for the sake of arguement he lost to DLH what about the rest?

Hector Camacho (43-2); Luis Campas (56-0); Oba Carr (32-0); Ray Lovato (21-1); Kevin Lueshing (19-1); Pernell Whitaker (42-2); Hugo Pineda (36-1) and

Tito would be fighting Shane and Floyd would never fight him but talk about fighting him.
