if pac wins it's obvious he cements his place as p4p #1, however if hatton was to beat pac clearly, where would you move each fighter to on the p4p list?

yeah that's about right, if hatton were to dominate pac, i would possibly switch hopkins and hatton.

if jmm will beat pac after the hatton beat pac that is a good list but if not then jmm should stay on #3

Hatton would go from just outside to top 5...Pac would drop a spot or two.

if Hatton dominates Pac then of course he must move ahead of him. Even if right now that seems rediculous, in hindsight it will seem obvious

Surely if Hatton beats Pac-Man and Pac-Man has beaten Marquez twice. That means that Hatton beats both of them so he ranks above them.

Hopkins 4? but every one keeps saying he's an old man and not a real test

    1- Pacquiao
    2- JMM
    3- Hatton
    4- Calzaghe
    5- Hopkins

If Hatton beats Pacquiao that would elevate the HITMAN around the top of the food chain.
Just can`t see that happening though...

    This is exactly correct.

Hatton would be number one. Wins over a number three P4P in Tszyu plus a number one P4P in Pacquiao, only defeat to a number one P4p in Mayweather.

I disagree. The win over Tszyu was over 3 years ago, it can have absolutely zero relevance to the current rankings. Beating the top dog does not mean you jump 9 places, p4p is not the same as a weight division. How does Hatton beating Pac (not a natural lww) mean that Hatton is a better fighter at his weight than Marquez or Calzaghe or Hopkins are at theirs??

Did you move Hopkins up above Trinidad after his clear win over the 'not a natural MW'? I have no problems with discounting the Tszyu win due to the age of it. But what would Calzaghe, Marquez or Hopkins have done in the past couple of years to compare with a clear win over Pacquiao?

If he beat him clearly then i would put hatton in the top 3.
