If mr Peters stays on that 2 pigs/day diet Vitali will have a goodchance of landing on the slow nigerian

Win or lose...he'll ruin his own comeback.

Herbie Hide was his best win, but it doesn't count because Hide was ahead on all the cards when the fight was stopped.

Says who? Vitlai is not looking ahead, but as a fan I think Vitlai vs Valuev would be a good title unifcation match.

it's not looking good. ive never seen peter this fat before. he looks closer to 270 than 260. compare him to when he fought wlad at 243. who cares if he was greener? he was a far more dangerous, reckless, and a quicker fighter. his technique may have improved but he's lost some aggression and foot speed.

im liking vitali's chances more and more. he looks fit and ready to go. i reckon peter will come in around 257ish like he did in Toney 1.

Training camp is still the biggest hurdle in my mind.

You expect 2 miracles in a row...???

Sam Peter will break VITKLIT in the ring he makes it, don't think he'd make it through consecutive grueling training camps...

...if that happens it might start to look like he was afraid of Rahman afterall.

In all honesty it would be a great accomplishment but there are so many belts today it kind of makes it seem less news worthy.........Now if he fights his Little Brother and takes his belts that would be a greater story.....And i i think he could ,i always thought he was tougher than Wlad:rasta

    Let's see..

Retired. Injured after a long career in kick boxing and boxing. Retired as the consensus no. 1 in the world. Ran for major of Moscow and has been involved in the start-up of a couple of businesses. In other words totally and completely retired. Suddenly the fire is back (or is it?). Anyway - he is giving it a go and we will see who comes back.

IF he beats Peter then of course it is a major win. Considering that he did it without a single warm-up fight would be borderline crazy. We will see what happens. I forsee that he will be far older and more rusty than anyone including himself imagines. How often have we seen people come back - only to realize that they should have stayed retired?

It will be exciting to see.

Insignificant. Should Vitali win, even by KO, it would only further demonstrate that Peter is garbage.

I think it would be very impressive and I can't see why anyone would take that away from him should he be able to accomplish the win.

No an upset, it would be an upset if Vitali were to lose, but he only has to be at 50% to knock Peter out.

Well, think of it this way:

If Sam Peter is anywhere near the elite level his fanboys claim him to be, he shouldn't lose to anyone who's approaching 40 and coming off of 4 years of inactivity. Even if Vitali is the greatest heavyweight ever (and he's not even close BTW), it would be inexcusable for the supossed Heavyweight Champion of the World to lose to an old man coming out of retirement.

I'm not saying that Vitali can't win. But, if Peter loses to him, he is truly an overrated piece of crap (which is what I have suspected all along).
