Prime Takam is in par with prime Ortiz out of world level.

Look mate you are all over the place adding another name or two when the issue is debating whether Parker or Whyte are World Level.

Both are mediocre fighters with zero marquee wins except Andy Ruiz for a vacant World Title.

Merry Xmas mate - we get predictions wrong all the time, nothing wrong with that.

I think you underrate Parker, he’s a solid heavyweight who beat Ruiz, Takam, and now Wilder.

Yes Wilder is past his best but other guys have been such as Klitschko and Povetkin who had also been through wars yet were much better at a similar age. Ortiz was 38 as well when he first fought Wilder yet he is pro-ported as a guy who wasn’t past his best.

Wilder lacks basic fundamentals which means now, when his physicality has declined, he’s got no chance against anyone decent. I think in his prime he would have of course done far better but I would by means say he beats Parker with ease. He’s highly unproven at the highest level and lost to every top ten guy he faced in his career who was not past 35.

Every boxer gets old and some find out the hard way in the ring that what made them reach a certain level is no longer there.

They say power is the last to go and certainly Wilder found that out on Saturday.

Time for him to retire before he gets badly hurt.

I said he wasntt one the top world level fighters.

    Similar to pUlev
Who has Wilder beaten to be considered better than Parker and Whyte?

Parker has beaten Wilder and Ruiz. Whilst Whyte has beaten Parker.

The debate is about Parker and Whyte.

Wilder was one of a plethora of World Champions in a very poor era.

More importantly Parker now has a better cv than anybody not named Klitschko among Fury's wins.

If Fury loses to Usyk his career is going to be in tatters .

The forum is horrendous with most of the worst posters being in the British section. Wig is up there with the worst of them usually just parroting the same nonsense over and over.

“Wilder is at worst 50/50 against any heavy in history”

Essentially saying Wilder is favourite against any heavyweight fighter ever, his posts don’t even merit the time to read them.

Thanks for the mention, and for taking the time to read my posts.

I stand by that statement. Wilders power is the great equaliser. Moreso against the great heavies from history who are more his own size than modern day.

How you can possibly extrapolate that he is favourite from that statement is bizarre.

the point is his power is the great equaliser, he can “lose” on the cards until winning by KO and he WON 100% of the fight.

KOs are a big thing. They are 100% decisive and overrule whatever came before them.

Had Wilder landed on and stopped Joey twelve in round twelve, he would have WON 100% of the fight.

you don’t win 5% of a fight when you win by KO. You win 100%.

Top trumps boxing fans are a decent enough bunch all in all but they have a blind spot for the value of KO power. I blame Eddie Hearns junior.

By your logic Fury must have the best chin in history. Which he doesn’t.

Wilder got found out a bit last night.

These things occur normally when fighters used to fight better fighters more regularly

Wilder found out that at 38 years of age, his power has diminshed and that was his only weapon in a fight.

Sadly even Dave Allen would have beat him on Saturday.

The old adage is it is the last thing to go. Being willing to swing wildly and with a reckless abandon is what made Wilder dangerous. That was what was missing for me.

He was very gun shy which you would never use to describe Wilder before. He's had 2 minutes in 2 years after taking a beating. He's mentally shot but as AJ has shown you can get a little spark back.
