Parker won a vacant World Title against a limited opponent, defended it narrowly against a very poor Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury, tamely surrendered his Vacant Belt against another Vacant Belt specialist Joshua, defeated by a very poor Dillian Whyte, struggled against a very poor Del Chisora and completely obliterated by Joe 'Slow Motion' Joyce.

Not much better than British Level for me anytime in his career although I recognise he boxed well on Sat against a Washed Up Wilder.

    Parker of best wins
    Ruiz
    Wilder
    Chisora
    Takam
    H.Fury

    Wilder best wins
    Ortiz
    Stiverne
    Dauhaupas
    Washington
    Spzilka

It's clear that Parker beat the better quality opponents throughout his career.

I mean Wilders best win was Ortiz who was Chisora and and Takam level at best.

If your opinion Parker was British level, then on your logic Wilder was no world level even before the Wilder vs Parker fight as Parker had a much better record.

@Mitch87 is a very dishonest person. Even after Wilder had beaten Ortiz he was saying that Ortiz was better than Whyte and Parker:

    July 2018

Mitch: Post-Wilder 1 Luis Ortiz > Whyte and Parker.

He admits that Wilder beat a better fighter than Whyte or Parker, which by his own logic puts Ortiz as the 4th best heavyweight at minimum (he claimed that “2nd ranked” Povetkin “might be able to beat Ortiz” in August 2018) and Wilder well above Whyte or Parker.

    Who has Ortiz beaten?

Jennings (who claim to fame is getting a win over Perez due to a dodgy point deduction) and went to life and death with Charles Martin of people.

Parker recors improved when Ruiz set up quality of opposition beating the number 1 HW at in AJ. This in turn improving Whyte who had a win over Parker.

End of the day there is no disputing that clearly Parker and Whyte have better records than Wilder.

My opinion of Parker stands as above and I believe it is a fair assessment of what he has delivered in the ring.

What has Washed up Wilder's career got to do with my views on the abilities of Parker?

This era is absolute pony resulting in some of the weakest World Heavyweight Champions ever seen since Fury dethroned the previous era King Wlad in Dusseldorf.

The list includes Stiverne, Martin, Joshua, Parker, Ruiz and Wilder with the only elite trait between the lot of them being Wilder's Power, heart and champion's mindset which disappeared long before last weekend aged 38.

Usyk and Fury have sorted out the mediocrity below them with relative ease and now we move to their fight when we will see how good both really are at the top of the tree.

Usyk is a legend in the sport even if he is splattered by Fury for cleaning out the Cruiserweight Division out but he is still to be tested by an elite Heavyweight.

Fury has many questions hanging over how good he is after a career of ducking and diving, his only fight in 2023 was his worst performance yet but he had the balls to go away to dethrone Wlad and Wilder.

Should Fury beat Usyk he retires a genuine legend for me and no amount of CV Battleships will make a difference.

    "Who has Ortiz beaten?"

His wins were impressive enough for you to favour a post-Wilder Ortiz over Whyte and Parker.

At the time and hindsight alchanges with results. In particular asnHWs started fighting each more.

Who has Ortiz beaten to be considered better than Whyte or Parker?

    Ortiz
    Jennings
    Martin

    Wilder
    Ortiz
    Stiverne
    Dauhaupas
    Spzilka
    Washington

    Whyte
    Povetkin
    Parker
    Rivas
    Chisora

    Parker
    Ruiz
    Wilder
    Chisora
    Takam
    H.Fury

Its clear that both Parker and Whyte have better records than Wilder and Ortiz.

Mitchroom clearly loves his Matchroom Men and detests both Wilder and Fury.

I just call it as I see it even if unpopular.

In the past, I have stated that I enjoyed watching Wilder fight for that bingo punch and was impressed with his heart and Champion's mindset in the Fury trilogy where he was seconds away from winning 2 of the 3 fights.

He may have very limited boxing skills but nodody can doubt he is a warrior and entertained the boxing fans over the years.

The same goes with Fury with the greatest comeback ever seen in boxing after 2 years absence plus his rise from the canvas in the final round of Wilder 1.

The Fury v Wilder 3 fight was the best World Heavyweight Fight for years.

I would post the same if both were promoted by Matchroom as I don't really care about promoters.

My point is only although it was a gun shy Wilder, it was still a decent win and Parker looked pretty good.

If Usyk/Fury win by landslide you have the give the winner credit and not retrospectively say they were done etc.

Same way I thought AJ did well but never thought that highly of Wallin so don’t see it as him being the best etc. Just those that rated Wallin have to give AJ credit

Thought Wallin was garbage against a very lacklustre Fury and have seen nothing since to change that view.

He did land a punch that cut Fury bad but never had any ambition or tools to take advantage.

No idea why anybody thought he was anyhting other than get a few rounds man.

Nobody can doubt Wilder is a warrior?

    - Wilder ducked multiple offers from AJ and chances. To be undisputed champion to fight lesser opposition.

    - Wilder ducked Whyte and even messaged him saying he would freeze him out to fight lesser opposition.

    - Still could of fought Povetkin but ducked him.

    - Turned down the offer to fight Wlad with his manager stating he is not ready to fight Wlad and that Wilder is still a baby despite having 30 plus fights.

    - Failed to to attempt to unify against AJ, Parker and Wlad.

    - avoided the majority of the top HWs in Wlad, AJ, Povetkin, Whyte and Parker for year to fight lesser opposition.

FFS Mitch just watch the Wilder v Fury 3 fight and that should be enough for you in the ring and out of the ring, he fought like a warrior to get the Fury 3 fight when he had just been pummelled badly by Fury.

The top CV Guru on the forum by a mile.

He has his own personal files on every fighter and knows both his favourite subjects Fury and Wilder better than their wives.
