Took me a while but I finally figured it out and the way he/they were speaking before and after the Wallin v Gassiev fight confirmed it for me.

I've just had a look on the Joshua boxrec page to see who hes beat and was expecting to put Wallin fourth or somewhere abouts there. I have to say its a toss up for two or three for me. He's after old Wladimir Klit and he's a toss up with old Povetkin who was a solid if unspectacular boxer back in his day. Shocked by that actually. I must of been taken in by all the talk of Joshuas wins being the best in the division that's surprised me that has.

Behind Wlad, Povetkin, Ruiz, Whyte, Parker and Pulev.

klitschko was just about to finish but got him above wallin also, retrospect might play a part there, looking back in a few year. Povetkin was another oldie. Ruiz looked like a hot air balloon so Wallin is defo above that. Whyte is British level and ducked Wallin as every one saw. Parker didnt throw a punch. Pulev was old and he was also very poor against Klitschko many years before that. Wallins above all but old Wladimir Klitschko imo

Wald had lost 1 fight in over 10 years.

Parker was a world champion ranked 3rd in the world at the time who had beaten the likes Ruiz and Takam.

Povetkin was ranked 3rd in world, Wilder ducked him. Povetkin went on to draw with Hunter and beat Hughie and Whyte after the loss to AJ.

Ruiz was unified champion and went to beat Ortiz after the AJ loss.

Whyte after his loss to AJ went on to beat like of Parker, Rivas and Povetkin

Pulev had beaten Hughie and Chisora prior to AJ fight and was robbed a win against Chisora after.

All the above have far superior records to Wallin whose best win after Gassiev is Brezeale.

Wald was coming off couch though, hadnt boxed since he got schooled off Fury

What does rankings mean in boxing it's all made up there's no proper points system. Beating Hughie Fury, are you joking? lol

Ruiz was unified champ cos he knocked out Joshua, he blew up over a stone was already very fat, he was over 20 stone and is already a little guy. Personally had him loosing to Ortiz and he was in his mid forties, he was an old man with a cracked chin, went down off a jab against Martin if memory serves

Whyte did but he was gassed after a few round, British level anyway and he blew out his shoulder

Hughie and Chisora lol. Are you being serious? You seem to like Hughie Fury alot. Pulev was an old man never any good, Euro plodder.

That doesnt mean Wallins worse than them does it? imo itll be joshuas second best win and 50 50 fight but if he lets his hands go youd expect joshua to get him out of there. Joshua will have the freedom to do what he wants as Wallin although hes a good all rounder he doesnt have big power. imo he doesnt have the killer instict cos he had Fury in bother and did nothing and he had Gassiev going and he took his foot off the accelerator. Good fight imo.

As a proud Englishman and Brit I will absolutely be getting right behind Joshua as we need wins on these shores, lost alot of champs in last few years.

Mitch now using LUIS ORTIZ to bolster Joshua's resume. Whilst simultaneously discrediting Wilder's.

    Remember the day.

Not in the top 5 which shows how much of a superior resume he has over most. Given that he would be number 2 or 3 on furys..

I agree. Don't understand that Queensberry wants to use him as a front man for their press conferences ? He doesn't have a good speaking voice and no charisma at all. Does anyone listen to what he says ?

Didn't Wallin just beat "1st rate" Gassiev? He'd already schooled "solid fringe contender" Breazeale, who you put on a par with Takam back in the day. I can pull up your quotes if you like. Didn't Whyte blatantly duck Wallin?

In reality Wallin beats all of those guys barring Wlad and maybe Povetkin.

Whyte would probably fight anyone for the right money. He is just delusional over his worth because Eddie paid him over the odds as the Sky casuals bought his shocking PPVs.

I don’t think Wallin is all that. Fury had a bad night (which happens) and got cut.

I think AJ beats him on points, via wide UD. Wallin is defensively solid so can’t see AJ all of a sudden letting his hands go.
