1st or second. Toss up between klitschko and wilder. Klitschko was past his best but it was a tremendous fight and he showed a lot of heart in tht fight.

Second or third probably. He doesn't trump any version of Klitschko. Povetkin, Parker and Ruiz would all be in the mix.

I generally rate Whyte higher than most, but not at the time Joshua beat him. Way too green.

Given that he ran a mile from Wlad and was relieved to have an excuse not to fight Pov (and refused to thereafter)... Third at best.

Beyond that it depends if we're talking about perceived danger or resume - that determines whether it's third/fourth or lower.

Top 5 for sure, Wlad, Povetkin definitely better wins. But other than that there not really anyone else on his resume that you could definitively place above Wilder.

He should be careful, because chances are that we will have to decide where he ranks among josuas's best defeats instead.

The no1 spot would be between Wilder and Wlad. If AJ/Wilder had happened when it was supposed to (2017/2018) it would have been a clearer no1 assuming Joshua won.

I'd say it would be his 2nd best.

Prime Povetkin would beat Wilder, but Povetkin was past his prime. 38 yo Povetkin was a good win, but not as good as Wilder IMO.

Based on current resumes I would go with this.

    1) Klitschko 2) Povetkin 3) Ruiz 4) Parker 5) Pulev 6) Whyte 7) Wilder

Wilder needs Joshua more than Joshua needs Wilder in terms of legacy when all is said and done imo.

If the fight happens at the end of the year then Wilder will be 38 himself when he faces Joshua. Wilder might not be anywhere near prime anymore either, especially after Fury battered him in the last 2 fights. Luckily for him neither is Joshua who seems mentally broken since the Usyk losses.

Would be his best win even thought he already has impressive resume

Ruiz Whyte and Pulev ahead? Come on now. You have to judge it at the time they fought, Whyte's gone on to have a decent resume but he was very much a novice when they fought. (both were tbh). Ruiz had beat nobody before AJ, his only name was Parker and he lost.
