How highly on an ATG p4p list would you place Floyd Mayweather if by the end of 2010 his record was 44-0 & his list of victims read something like....

    TKO 11 Pacquiao (140 lbs)
    TKO 12 Marquez (140 lbs)
    W 12 UD Margarito (147 lbs)
    W 12 UD Cotto (147 lbs)
    W 12 UD Williams (147 lbs)

Where would you place him ?

I think he only comes back for Pacman.

I cant see him fighitng Cotto now, only other guys would possibly be Paul Williams if he keps looking impressive, and Margarito maybe.

Actually Top 6 when u think about it:

    Undefeated
World Championships in 5 weight classes.

    Wins over:

    Diego Corrales
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Arturo Gatti
    Zab Judah
    Carlos Baldomir
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton
    Manny Pacquiao
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Miguel Cotto
    Antonio Margarito
    Paul Williams

Man thats a hell of a resume!

But it wont happen.... He either wont face all of those 5 u mentioned or somewhere along the way he will take an L

I disagree . . . In my opinion numbers dont mean **** . . . How many fighters have undefeated flashy records but are just built up feasting on **** competition.... Not saying thats what those two did but as i said, you have to look at who the boxer fought and beat, because numbers can look impressive but be deceiving.

I dont think you should look at a fighters number of fights or wins and make a judgment based on that.

anybody to have wins over those names in their prime on his resume ALONE deserves to be in top 20-30.

I would place him high but imo he is lucky to get in the top 100 ATM and I also think he gets beat off a prime De La Hoya. Mayweather nearly lost (and did imo I don't see how anyone can say he won the first fight)at light weight and only proved himself as a great fighter up to light welter and as a very good welter where as De La Hoya proved to be great all the way up to welter and very good at light middle.

When Mayweather beats a fighter who is great and in his prime in a division in which he is at his P4P best then he becomes a great fighter but untill then he is not.

Even his wins over fighters like Hatton and Corraless are impressive but neither fighter was great and neither fighter put anywhere near one of their best P4P performances in.
