Odd to think he's now almost inarguably above Golovkin, wouldn't have guessed at that.

GGG is a better technician; Kovalev is a better athlete.

I haven't made a list yet but I'd most likely put him around 8-10.

He is not even the REAL Champ in his own weight class yet.

Lets think about it after things have been solved with Stevenson.

Stevenson might be lineal but most people prob count Kovalev and his multiple belts as the man in the division right now.

Adonis took out a pretty poor Dawson coming off a humiliating KO loss to ward who looked a shadow of his himself. It's a little like the Cotto, GGG situation at middleweight.

What I meant that it is not even certain Kovalev is the best fighter on his division. There are two guys at the top and no clear the best fighter until it is settled in the ring.

For sure. Who would you pick if the fight happened next?

Stevenson wants no part of Kovalev I can't rank him above Kovalev after the stunt he pulled, switching networks to avoid him. Kovalev now has a signature win against a hall of fame opponent that GGG does not, so yeah he goes above him for now. I would prob place him around 6 p4p.

No idea but gun in my head I pick Kovalev and if he doesnt getting caught early with some of the Stevenson hard left counters. If Kovalev survives he would brake Stevenson I believe.

But really close to be a pick em fight. Stevenson is dangerous guy.

Is that a requirement to enter the list?

Had Stevenson not so blatantly ducked Kovalev I would have had him 2nd after Stevenson, who's win over Dawson made him the man at 175lbs. But he did, so until Stevenson proves otherwise by manning up, Kovalev is the man at light heavy.

I'd go Kovalev but without a great deal of certainty. It's a fight that could happen a number of times, end in the first three rounds each time and have different winners. That's what makes it such a good fight to make.

    I dont know.

In fact I dont think too much about p4p lists anyway.

I only care about best fighting best in their divisions.
