Where would you rank Bud if he clears super-welterweight?

I mean, if anyone can do it it's him. Still got that athleticism and never was in that many wars plus rn you could argue it's a pretty hot division and I rank Madrimov as one of his best scalps if not the best together with Gamboa. Remember Tank competitevely defeated a past-it one-legged version so I think the prime version Bud defeated was way worthy.
Imo Ortiz, Tszuyu and Fundora would spike his resume compared to his peers if he successfully defeated 'em, especially by his age and they are better names than (post car-accident) Spence jr. and (post gun-shot) Benavidez jr.

He has a long way to go before he reaches a historic ranking at 154. He has yet to win a belt at light middleweight. (at least according to boxrec).

I'd like to see him try and clear out a division of fighters bigger, much or way bigger than him instead of ones his size so we could rank him up there with some of the greats of his era who have actually been facing bigger, much or way bigger fighters than them when they move up in weight

Undisputed from 140 to 154 of course counts highly even in a historical sense. And undefeated to boot. Could we be looking at top 20 ATG perhaps?

My problem with Crawford is always been has has been P4P in the sense that he has always beaten smaller dudes - when did Crawford beat someone giving up size - especillaly reach - advantage?

Don't get me wrong, he still looked good against Madrimov, but watching that fight you wonder 'how the hell was this dude in the ring with Ricky Burns?'

I'd like to see how Crawford fares at the kind of size disadvantages that Usyk (and Loma) routinely go up against...

Sure Bud has managed to go up through the divisions winning titles, but I wonder how much of that is how great he has been at being able to weight cut (I mean 175 reach at 135? sheeeeeeeeeet), as opposed to actually beating folks bigger than him.

Still passes the eye test with flying colours, but he had 5-6 inch reach on Madrimov and looked the bigger dude in the ring.

I think that's why Crawford was eyeing Canelo as I think even he realizes that winning titles at 147 and 154 weighing in at Jinx Spinx fight weight is just not cutting it - pun intended

Not sure, depends what Usyk and Inoue do. Usyk doesn’t have many potential opponents left so I think the other two will close in on him

Well, he weighed a pound more for his 154 debut at his 4th weight class looking lean and ripped than his career opponent at that weight did and with a massive reach advantage too

He weighed a couple of ounces less than GGG's average fight night weight

Tons of undisputed over such a weight range, right?

He beat Indongo and a car crash victim to get undizputed. His resume is woeful.

Not only them of course, and Spence had proven himself to be the best other WW even after the crash. And Crawford of course had good work at 135 before that, and would in this scenario have become undisputed at 154 as well.

So, I ask you again, where are all the other fighters that have become undisputed in a similar range with a belt in a division beside those? And are undefeated.

    Double standards again ?

He is already #1 for me. but if he become undisputed again at that weight, beating such high level opponents, even other boxers fanboys would not say a thing about his level and position.

divisions below 130 is weak, just like CW and HW, sadly.

His "good work" at 135 is Ricky Burns coming off of jaw surgery and Gamboa who had just gone life and death with Darleys Perez and who Crawford outweighed by 15 lbs or so. Spence was drained outta his mind, had a messed up eye, had been in 3 car crashes, had altitude sickness and was always remarkably one-dimensional. He got hurt badly by pillowfist Ugas and scraped past Danny who was barely trying. Crawford has been massive in every division he's fought in and was an enormous LW. Just because he gobbled up a load of belts doesn't make his career more impressive. Tommy Ryan won titles over a similar range, as did Robinson, Ross, Canzoneri, Leonard, Duran, Mosley, and Griffith.

So you can't answer the question, but only have excuses and hot air? Fine. We will leave it there.

And, yeah, of course, you were telling anyone who would listen how Crawford would dominate and stop Spence? Because if you didn't and spout what you do now you're a sham.
