    :rofl:patsch

rank him for beating a naturally smaller guy? That is idiotic and shows how flawed and silly P4P really is.

:lol: Because Floyd was the number 1 prior to retirement. And is coming off a 2 year retirement.

JMM has arguably beat Pac twice.

    Thats why.

    Really? Here's lets do this.

Got a draw and lost a very close 2nd fight.

But FLoyd who is going to be nearly two retires off of boxing coming in and beating the number 2 is not as good as Cotto beating Pac despite the bigger size advantage he holds over him?

You keep mentioning size advantage . . . once fights are signed the size advantage doesn't become a factor in putting names into a rating list. :D

You keep twisting it . . . AND you are failing to mention JMM was a 135 pounder the last time he fought. :nut

    So what?

That doesn't change the fact that Cotto holds a bigger size advantage over Pac than Floyd does over JMM.

If weight is such an issue for you, hows this.

Floyd is already weighing less than what Pac against Hatton on fight night.

It's not an issue for me . . . it's your issue . . . you keep inserting size advantage not me. :D

Is that a factor in the ratings? :hi:

He is already top ten in my view If he beat's Pac i would say somewhere in the top three depending on what happens with Marquez-Mayweather.

If its not a factor that how is Cotto beating Pac move him up to 1 from 8 when Floyd is coming off retirement for 2 years not put him back at 1?

Wouldn't coming off 2 years retirement and beating the number 2 (who is slightly below the number 1) be better than Cotto beating Pac?

The guy that PBF is beating lost to the guy that Cotto is beating.

    Isn't that simple? :D

And it's still logical for me to put the #8 guy higher in ratings than a guy coming in from vacation. If both fighters on top losses . . . I'll be more inclined to move Bhops and Mosley upward than inserting PBF's name in there. :yep

Again that's my list . . . so just make your own list. Don't force me to adopt your line on arguement in my personnal list. I can even put KOKI KAMEDA on top of my list and nobody can change it.:D :hi:

I'll rank Cotto in top 3 p4p if he beats Pacquiao. The reason is easily simple at 145 pounds many say that 1 pound of losing weight is no big deal? Has anyone boxed before and try to make a weight before for a fight? As eze has said before, losing 1 pound wouldn't be easy. People seem to forget that Cotto when he's not schedule for a fight weighs around 170 or 168 pounds. If Cotto was weighing 155 pounds before preparing for a fight like in the ww, he would have no problem weighing at 145 pounds or lower then that. Yes Cotto wants the fight to be at 145 pounds but he only did that cause he knows Pacquiao won't fight Cotto at 147 pounds so all Cotto said the low he could go is 145 pounds. But again the reason i rank Cotto number 3 p4p is easily simple, Cotto will most likely be an big underdog cause mostly alot of People in which are boxing fans, writers are favoring Pacquiao to win.

In a very close fight (which I scored for JMM)
Of course you will. Why am I arguing with a guy who clearly has a distaste for Floyd. You wont be fair but bias against him.

Of course its your own list, you just want to feel good because you dont like Floyd. Thanks for slightly admitting your bias.

    Don't drag this somewhere else . . . that's not distaste :D . . . that's being objective based on my own opinion.

You might call it biased . . . fine with me . . . you have your biases too. :yep

I believe Miguel Cotto is the #5 fighter in the world.

If Manny loses, and Floyd wins.... Pac-Man will probably have to drop to #3.

    right now:

    1) Manny Pacquiao

    2) Juan Manuel Marquez

    3) Bernard Hopkins

    4) Shane Mosley

    5) Miguel Cotto

    6) Paul Williams

    7) Chad Dawson

    8) Celestino Caballero

    9) Wladimir Klitscko

    10) Antonio Margarito

    How is Mosley so high?

He's done nothing to warrant that ranking.
