skills only look as as good as the comp you face....outboxing a featherweight great as a welter does little to show him being top 10 of all time.....that would be like roberto duran beating up salvador sanchez rather than moving up and beating pound for pound bigger guy sugar ray leonard....
bhop has never been more skilled then floyd. what makes u think floyd couldnt last as long as hopkins? Mayweather and Hopkins are throwback fighters and ahead of their time. defensive fighters always have long careers look at james toney, hes still fighting but hes a less skilled version mayweather. im not saying floyd WILL fight as long as hopkins but im 100% sure he could and still win most of his fights but he definately wouldnt retire undefeated but will still be successful. hes made more than enough money in the sport he dont need to fight that long.
Duran there's an argument, I think Gomez and Ortiz were very skilled but didnt have the physical tools that Floyd has to take it to the next level. And a flat out no for Napoles, although a great fighter.
Please respect Tony's thread ******, he isn't talking about this bull****, and probably doesn't want his thread moved, everyone knows you think asking a man to take drug tests is ducking, noted.
Floyd wasn't prime either...imagine how bad Floyd beat the **** out of Shane past prime, now factor if he was in his prime. Goes both ways and an overall weak argument.
