Your a damn fool. Your dismissing his accomplishments because of the steroid tests. Do you consider Holyfield an all time great? Caus he sure as **** was juicing, an I gurantee 90 percent of the elite heavies have since the mid to late 70's. This isnt a new thing. Most boxers use it. Hate to break it to you. 10000 plus posts since 2010. maybe its time you get out there an learn an stop posting for a while.

This is what i've always said, his skills are what people love and what people tend to judge him on despite several instances where they were countered by the like of Griffin and Jones but people do love that oldschool slick style he had/has.

I'm not dismissing his accomplishments but it does hurt his legacy, especially considering the fact he's been caught juicing multiple times.

Holyfield probably did juice aswell but his wins were far better then anything on Toney's resume bar Nunn.

Sure you can speculate all you want but James Toney is unique in the fact he got busted on multiple occasions for his shameless steroid abuse and you trying to say that '90% of elite heavies juice' without providing any proof or evidence to back up your outrageous claim only adds to what I originally suspected..... that you're a butthurt fanboy who's mad because his world where unicorns and fairies dance about has been brutally shattered by an injection of truth.

I don't mind people nuthugging their favourite boxers infact i've been accused of it before aswell but what I do mind is people being nutthuggers then being unable to back up any claims they make then act as if they're suffering from a rectal prolapse when they can no longer admit their hero isn't as great as they thought he was.

PS. 10,629 posts, and i'd venture 30% is educating blind numb nuts such as yourself.

    70 - 100

Skills wise he's one of the best ever. He lacks/lacked the mental dedication to this sport to be ranked too highly. Showed a few serious aspects of Boxing no respect at all and pissed away an incredible skill set.

That said, very few men in history know how to fight like James Toney knows how.

I dont need to prove it. One of my best friends is a former heavy he was ranked in the top 15 in the world at one tme. He used it an he told me plenty of stories about being in camp with a few heavyweight champions that used it. drugs exist. Do you watch nfl football? drugs are as important as their training. Thats how it is now. An by the way sorry i talked **** on u. I just get tired of people throwing out the drug thing all day long. . I;ll take his word over any forum members.

have the boxers taking the **** did not even know what it was, they were offered some **** by gym rat and was told this could help you out. not even knowing its a steroid and then i think alot of other fighters do know what they are taking a get away with it until they get caught.

all i know about toney case was he did not know and it did not make him a better fighter. through out his whole career he never looked freakish or muscular, always had problems making weight. he gets fatigue in later rds of his good fight but still can dominate due to his skillset. i give toney a pass on the steroid ****, he had pretty nice career before he even went to hw.

atg status accomplishment wise he's up there coming from mw to hw winning marjor titles in all divisions i think ? i would put him in my top 50 and alot closer then that if i thought about long enough.

atg status skillwise he is like top 5 for me, mayweather if my favorite fighter but if i could fight like any boxer in the history of the sport i would want to fight like james toney. from speed to the chin to the combonation punching and of course that philly shell he grand mastered. fighting off the ropes and coming straight at the bigger fighters not moving back only side to side, up and down and any other angles. just give me his style and i would be happy with that !!

oh im talking this particualr version of jame toney this night this fight !!
