Top 5?????? Give over mate. No chance. He has skills and heart but his resume is lacking. And this is coming from one of those "deluded Brits" that get mentioned so often. Probably top 20 in terms of ability/potential. I would have him as top dog at Welter but I don't think he can make the weight any more.

He's beaten Porter by hugging him all night. All his other fights have been against the likes of Gavin, Bizier, Jo Jo Dan..... But because he survived 5 rounds vs GGG before his corner threw in the towel because Kell was stumbling all over the ropes he deserves top 5 p4p status.....

So the top fighter at 147 is only worth of a place in the top 20 fighters? Gimme a break.

Brook just gave GGG hell, those guys at 147 didn't want to fight him before they sure won't want to fight him now.

Brook has the skills to be top 10 but doesn't have the resume. Few of us have argued that he was the #1 WW in the world and were laughed at because of his resume.

I don't think anyone can really say with a straight face that kell is a joke fighter who would lose to other WW champions.

Kell just couldn't get the fights at 147. Real shame as he would have cleaned up.

At 154 kell can be a beast though. Hearn already mentioned Canelo to Peter Nelson and response was yes please.

Spence fight can happen in the future when Spence moves up. Kell going back down to 147 is not happening.

There are more deserving fighters at other weights. And lets be honest, since Mayweather retired and Pac become shot, WW is WIDE open. For all we know Thurman...or Spence...or Brook...anyone of them could be outstanding. We just haven't seen the fights to 100% back these statements. Therefore, imo, yes, the top guy at Welterweight does not slot into the top 10 because none of the top Welters have fought each other. I would guess that Brook wins but it would be just that, a guess. Thats my 2 cents.
