Alltime...dont know, probably so far outside the top 150 its not worth really looking into it. Lightweight..not high, I could probably think of 35-40 fighters that I would put over him..I dont think he would be to far out of the top 50 with wins over Casa, Freitis and Castillo. Superfeather..Maybe top 25-30.
I dunno about all time.. but if he was prime today he'd rule 130-135, with Manny having moved up. Can you imagine what Chico would have done to Juan Diaz? It wouldnt have been pretty for Diaz. Valero-Chico would be an awesome slugfest, but Valero punches too wide. Chico woulda countered him, and iced him.
Thats selling him very short. Corrales was a very good fighter, and a GREAT puncher. And it took a GREAT fighter(Floyd) and two very good fighters(Casa & Castillo) to beat him in his prime. With wins over Casa, Frietas, Castillo, and Manfredy he had himself an excellent career.
Sums it up. He had no defensive ability, and he often tried to rely just on his power. Good fighter, very exciting fighter, but he wasn't "great".
i ranked him above casamayor...i think he has better legacy than casamayor and in tha same bracket as castillo
