Wheres good places to watch fights

    Just moved to Brisbane, although Im sceptical bout watching fights in pubs i went to the pac v hatton at labour club in canberra and I couldnt stand the amount of lies and rubbish people where making up.

    Anyway new here, keen for beers and boxing.

    But the bull**** is my favourite part of it. I've met so many WBX and IBD champions its unreal. I love making up stories about titles and fighters and watching them sagely nod their heads in agreement with me.

    You'll find theres at least one good venue in every state with a good knowledgable crowd, just may take some finding. Theres a few here from Qld who may be able to help you out.

    Pig n Whistle Eagle Street is pretty good.. Several tv's and a big a screen.. They show most of the big fights.

    Carina Leagues club is always a goody - cheap refreshments which would probably save Leon between $150,000 - $200,000 a year if he went there instead of the trendies he haunts hoping desperately that Kagsy would sneak another look at his package
