After that clear loss to Pavlik, what happened to him?

Personally, I think his run in the p4p ranking has ended with that 2nd loss.

Does anyone here think he can still beat Miranda? or make noise at the MW? He is still young but we all know he has reached his potential, and that is all with him. Nothing special.

    He ought to retire now..:smoke

Believe me, there is no way he can go to the top again.

And he knows that very well that we might not see him anytime soon.

For all his athleticism and talent, he was bullied from pillar to post by pavlik in that 2nd fight. That should be a nice indicator.

Bullied? Depending on who you ask he won that fight.

He's not cooked...but the problem is the fighters he needs to beat to move back into the spotlight (Calzaghe, RJJ, Miranda and Kessler) I don't think he can beat.

Him against RJJ was in discussion...then it switched to him against Mayorga.

Exactly, so there is no point for him to fight more.

The 2nd fight only showed one thing: he can not beat Pavlik.

I intend to stay optimistic and believe he can continue to improve like he did the last fight, and we've not at all seen the end of JT.

Why is there no point in him fighting? He can still face those guys, hope to get lucky or hope he gets a good payday for it.

Talking retirement is crazy talk..especially in boxing when guys like Johnny Tapia and George Foreman are talking comebacks.

Taylor will be back. He'll fight 1 or 2 "B" level guys and then kick the **** right out of Kessler.

JT is just getting started. He's going to make a lot of noise at SMW, especially if his improvements are for real.

I'd like to see Taylor fight Pantera.

I still think Hopkins won their first fight.
