I usually respect your insights whether I fully agree or disagree but having had the misfortune of meeting this cretin and watching his act firsthand throughout the Bowe reign, let me suggest... he is a piece of ****.

HBO didnt want to give Bowe the long term deal. HBO wanted Bowe to fight Don Kings fighters and go along with the WBC's BS. Rock Newman secured a 7 fight deal with HBO worth an estimated 100 million. Bowe is the one who screwed up by not taking his craft seriously, but Newman tried parading Bowe around like a celebrity so it didnt help matters.

 

Bowe hit everyone after the bell. He hit Holyfield too and in the 3rd fight even after Holyfield went to his birthday party. True story

If he's a nasty piece of **** by professional boxing's standards then he must have done something pretty ****in' extreme, but no one's telling.

 

Bowe did wind up sueing and is still involved in a nasty lawsuit against Newman for robbing him of millions. Gee, what a surprise in boxing.

 

Yeah, but Holyfield's a warrior. It's not bullying or even fouling when it's Holyfield - it's just competition.

Bowe's press conference shot on Larry Donald was his lowest moment, Even he apologised for that one.

 

Bowe retired with 10 million in the bank. Michael Moorer also retired with 10 million in the bank. Both are broke. Moorer lives in a small rental apartment in south Florida. It doesnt matter how or when or who makes them broke, but they all seem to go broke and blame everyone else.

 

That was pretty bad. I liked Bowes fight demeanor though. Even though he did a lot of fouling, he had a nice mean streak in the heat of battle. People think hes a ***** for trashing his belt, but he would have been up in Lewis' face had they fought.
