Fabio Wardley last fought nearly 5 months ago and still nothing lined up.

Last fight was an impressive 1st round demolition of Frazer Clarke. So little recovery needed.

Would have hoped to see him have something arranged by now.

I do hope they don't go down the route of the WBA poundland regular belt against a shot and ancient Pulev.

Would like to see him fight sooner rather than later for sure.

I assume he will fight this late ish spring on one of those The Ring Riyadh cards.

Rumours of Pulev but think Pulev is trying to sell his belt to Wlad. Would love to see Wardley step it up and fight a Hrgovic type of guy.

I absolutely agree, no matter how limited Hrgovic is according to the opinions of many, he represents a certain challenge...

The worst thing a manager or promoter can do to a boxer after an impressive performance is to leave him inactive for a long time.

Can it be opponents refuse to fight Wardley or ask for a lot of money after that Clarke KO? I wouldn’t be surprised. I feel like that’s the case with the Pulev fight. Pulev probably wants a lot of compensation for getting brutalized by Wardley. As a promoter I would make that investment.

Actually Wardley vs Okolie would make sense as well.

totally agree. His promotor didn't even mention him when there was a good opportunity at recent cards.

I've also seen Wardley recently saying he would like to fight Dubois. That's clearly not going to happen this year. Just wishful thinking.

He seems to lack direction. After a spectacular win (ok Clarke is limited but it was a very good ko) this is simply poor promotion.

Hrgovic is sitting about so that's an obvious good fight to make. Also Huni (lower risk). Even Frank Sanchez,

    Very interesting fight
Moses is clearly better but I have written off Wardley far too often

He seems to go in to crazy mode when hurt and actually responds with fire when you think he is about to lose

I'm gonna say Moses, but at this moment in time it's gonna be more difficult than say it would be in another 2 to 3 years when he has matured on to a much fuller fighter

While I picked him to obliterate Clarke in the rematch, we can't forget that was his second attempt. The first fight he got stunned several times and even though I scored it for him, it was way too close for comfort, even with two 10-8 rounds. He knew he could smash Frazer early based on how much effect his punches were having on him late after playing it safe too much, even after he'd gassed out in the first fight, so in the rematch he went balls to the wall early. However, who's to say his next opponent will be that delicate? While most of us are thinking, look at that demolition job! He's probably thinking, but it took me two attempts! So his handlers are in a bit of a bind, they know deep down that it was more of a case of Clarke being a glass jawed fraud more than Fabio being some vicious unstoppable killer. Don't let that awesome KO1 give you amnesia.... I mean, he was rocked several times by Gorman and Eric Molina. I say that as a fan of Wardley.

Clarke is absolute grabage and got a lucky break against Mourad Aliev in 2020. Do not overrate Wardley based on that win.

Need to see him in with someone better.

Not sure it’s the right fight for either. They can make more money together later.
