Whats your guys thoughts on why Ronald Winky Wright has fought in a while?

Could it be that hes just due a rest.

Is he waiting for a big fight, possibly the winner/loser of the de la hoya/floyd rematch.

Mabie he is just taking a break so that he can get up to light heavy better. Haye is taking a break to get himself up to heavy and winky looked pretty chubby against Bhop, mabie he feels he needs some time to get himself up to light heavy properly?

    Whats you thoughts?

I think he's just taking his time, and in doing so looking for the right fight/opponent. He knows that if he loses again then its game over (or close to it)

I don't think it's one sole reason, I reckon it's a combination of things to do with his conditioning, trying to get back down to 160 or 154 and in good shape after his fight with B-Hop, he's probably looking at his options aswell or maybe he's just poorly managed and can't seem to secure a big-fight.

How is he ? Hes one of the best defensive boxers of our generation. Once a fighter has a lot of fights i think he due a rest. Its a tiring sport. You dont know, hes could be waiting for the oscer/floyd remach to happen, he could be getting himself up to light heavy properly, how is he a *****?????

Probably losing all that weight he gained when he hopped to Light Heavy, maybe he could show Joe Calzaghe how to get down to 160 from 175 ?

Two things about Winky-Wright. He's a hypocrite, and I don't like his style

He talked all this junk about how he had it real tough, nobody would give him a shot when he was a prospect and he was avoided like the plague. Now his ***** ass is doing exactly the same thing, he turns down guys left right and centre because there isn't enough money for his greedy ass. If you weren't such a boring **** and had fans, perhaps you'd be in a position to hard bargain for money :patsch

There is far too much ***** in him.

Winky squandered some good opportunities in sake of his ego. We'll probably see him on FNF's before HBO...

He seems comfortable finanically and the guy loves to hang out and eat instead of training. He's reached that point of his career where he just wants to cash out with a few final fights.

He doesn't need to be at LHW. He also doesn't need more rest, because he's becoming more past-it the longer he waits.

I dont think hes a *****, fought some great fighers, should fight more. It depends on his next fight. If the calibre of his next opponent is low then i would call him a *****. Which fighers did he turn down?

He turned down an offer from Arum to fight Margarito (only to partner with GBP and try to offer it back..), turned down a rematch w/ Taylor due to money. Turned down an offer from DLH supposedly, although I can't comment on the legitimacy of that offer.

Rumours are he turned down Kessler and Abraham too. There isn't enough money for him, and they aren't well enough known :patsch

Winky, you are boring and coming off a loss where you looked horrible, quite frankly. Are you really in a position to be such a tough negotiator?

Before the calzaghe/bhop fight, winky came out and said he wanted calzaghe. Surely as a boxer you should be aiming for the likes of Calzaghe, PBF, even De La Hoya, rather than Kessler and Abraham??

He ain't getting down to 147, so forget about Floyd

He can aim for Calzaghe and De La Hoya, it doesn't mean he'll get them. He ain't a draw, and his name on your resume doesn't look that great at the moment

He needs to go back to the drawing board. Abraham and Kessler are hardly insignificant fights, he'd get big props, and he'll get paid well. He's just being a hypocritical biatch.

perhaps its all just because the money, winky is in the game for too long, fought with vargas, tito, mosley, taylor, hopkins. Perhaps he felt that why are guys like mayweather, oscar, tito, etc. are getting paid alot of big money. So perhaps he feels this way thats why he don't want no candy no more
