If it's Golovkin, Martinez, Sturm, Pirog to a certain extent, or even N'Dam, he should have the camp of his life and let Russ build the gameplan up. No doubt Russ got this, the question lies with David not going mad if the gameplan doesn't work at first. Stupid wide shots are a possibility when the kid gets frustrated enough by an opponent's sharp defence (see Naugler fight).

If it's anyone else, well... have a good camp kid, come and unleash the fury. Macklin, Barker, Gaele, Sylvester (!!!), Lee, Zbik, JCC Jr (!!!), Lorenzo, Karmazin..... all go down.

Very confident in his strengths. He's got physical limitations, and that's always what the guy in front of him is gonna try to exploit. Whatever. He can cut a ring, and hasn't been dropped so far. Love the 'Rubio packs a decent punch... we'll see if he can take one' statement from David.
